Used this in my homemade lotion and have had ZERO issues. I hope this product continues to be made available so I can keep putting it in my product as a natural preservative.

This leucidal liquid comes conveniently in a glass dropper bottle. It has almost no scent to it, and it works really well to bind liquids and oils together. It's natural, easy to use, and a must for those who love making homemade skincare products. I've used it in my natural facial scrub, and it works really well. The aloe vera gel and plant oils blended easily. I highly recommend it!

Most recommendations call for DIY lotions to be in pumps to prevent introduction of bacteria. However, I've after making lotions for my use in salve containers, I haven't found any spoilage of my lotions (using this product as a preservative) even though my fingers dip in the pot several times per day, each day for going on 6 months now. I do not always wash my hands with soap immediately before using my lotions, either. Of course, you have to be watchful for your own results but this was the experience with my recipes and with my usage.

Thanks so much for delivering so quickly. I use it for my diy aloe vera gel, and other diy skin care products. So nice to have something non-toxic as a preservative! I still refrigerate my products, but am glad for the extra added protection.

I use this as a preservative for my HA face serum. This is the first time I've made cosmetics of this type, and so far this has worked very well. The bottle will last for quite some time since you only use a few drops per batch. No problems at all with any skin sensitivity.

Purchased this product to make after sun face spray following the ingredients from Herbivore. I mixed the product as recommended, after combining with the other ingredients, the mixture was cloudy at first, but then went clear after about 20 min. I am very happy with how my spray turned out, and so far have had no problems with it. Will definitely purchase more of this product and possibly others from this seller.

I use this along with "linatural" in my lotion and cream recipes. Togther they make a powerful preservative system, "that is based on natural science. " This product alone WILL NOT be powerful enough to preserve lotions. Yet with the addition of Linatural (or Amticide Coconut,or other broad spectrum preservative) it is part of a strong system to keep your lotions and other water based emulsions safe for use and free of bacteria, mold, and other contaminants. It's SO nice to have a safe alternative to parabens in lotion making.
