Douglass Oil Lighter Field-L Brass

Worth every penny, has fired every single flic for months now. Great size, well built, works like a fine watch. Only downside is small gas tank, as a heavy smoker i must fill it every day .I have bought several to give as gifts, they are that nice!!! Bout time i bought something nicer than maker claims it is!!!!

They say, "they don't make them like that any more." Yes they do. The workmanship of this lighter is top tier. The materials are premium. Even the presentation. This is the quality you might have found Mid-Century or earlier. The reputation this company has earned is well founded. Top quality.

It is week made and oooks great

I do not smoke just because of this lighter I just picked up the habit haha jk. I do use it as a stress ball. Not that my life is stressful or anything but I suppose it can be used for this purpose.

Nice little piece of kit, well built, but severely overpriced. Lighter should bee in thee $50 dollar range. Furthermore, I am missing a satisfying "CLICK" when I close the lighter cap. Not sure how they could engineer this, but hey - for $98 dollars I would like to see some engineering here.Nevertheless - a solid build that lights on command, unless under strong wind conditions.

This lighter is probably one of my favorites close behind of course my ST Dupont lighters. The Douglass field L always lights so its dependable, made out of Solid brass so its durable and affordable.

Works well - may need to extend the wick a bit. Make sure the flint screw it tight. Holds fluid a long time.
