Perfect for my small Chemex
Iโve come to enjoy brewing my coffee this way. It seems appropriate for the special coffee that I found. Itโs not necessary to pre-rinse these filters because they have no bad taste to them. Just one filter and two tablespoons of coarse ground coffee make the perfect cup of coffee in my 3-cup Chemex. Theyโre easy to fold and should last me at least two months. These filters are worthy of good coffee.

Great Product for Coffee Brewing
Nice product, the material works as expected and better than other brands. Use these filters enable us to get an excellent extraction of coffee in a Chemex.

Chemex coffee brewing system is the best!
I am a long time chemex fan for coffee brewing. I have always used their filters - they fit well , filter well and leave a clean taste with no oily residue .

Folding the Filters Gives Me Zen-Like Peacefulness. Would Not Want Pre-Folded Filters.
Beginning about 5 months ago, I switched from tea to coffee as my morning beverage and had to established a new routine as a result: the night before, I do the origami thing with the Chemex filter, slip it into my 3-cup Chemex carafe, and place 2 tablespoons of medium-roasted David Aspreyโs Danger โremineralized mold-freeโ whole beans in the vintage Krups grinder I inherited from my mother (RIP). In the morning, I put water in the goose neck kettle (bc regular kettle is unworkable), and while it gets to boiling, I grind the coffee (probably too finely); then, put it into the filter. When the water is ready, I pour it along the inside edge of the top of the carafe, and impatiently watch as the coffee drips so I can finally pour it into my cupโฆ! I cannot describe how satisfying this entire ritual is and the joy it brings me. Now, back to the filters: follow the instructions, and by the third filter, you will have gotten the knack of folding them. I find doing the origami thing is relaxing. Note: I only recently learned about mold in coffee and remineralization. In case it matters to you, Danger coffee also claims to contain electrolytes. (I get no compensation for plugging Danger coffee. I just love it.)

Bye-Bye filters!
5 Stars for the filter, BUT - I have stopped purchasing these!! Over the years I've spent SO much money on these...Ignore the "reviews" by people who can't figure out how to fold them, or who just don't want to fold them, blah blah. The fact is, it's easy to fold, and it does the job and makes a fantastic cup of coffee. I finally just couldn't justify buying these anymore - they are so expensive!! And I was using several per day. Soooo.... I finally purchased a reusable filter (about $15) that will last for years. The reusable metal filter is not made by Chemex, and since I'm such a coffee snob, for years I snubbed such a filter.... Also, I was taken in by the reasoning that I needed the special Chemex paper to filter out "oils" or something like that... well, I finally broke down several months ago when I had just run out of these filters and came back here to repurchase and it was over $20 for a box. It was just getting ridiculous. I bought the reusable metal filter. They are sold by several sellers here on Amazon, and even though they say they won't fit the small 3 cup chemex, they do, perfectly. The result: my coffee, which was already VERY VERY GOOD (I am a complete coffee nerd and snob!!), is EVEN BETTER!!! So... I LOVE my Chemex pot and still use it, but not with these pricey paper filters anymore. This, for me, will be a tremendous savings over time. Also, I guess I've saved a few trees! :)

Brilliant! (but a lot of work)
These filters are hilarious! To turn one into a cone, you have to fold it three times, and when it's in the funnel, it helps to stick something (pointy but not too sharp) down into the hole to round it out.
