Review: Will Buy More If Needed - This was available at my local big orange store right after the covid lockdown, supply issue, and restocking. Then they stopped carrying it, not sure if it's supply issue again but their selection of other electrical boxes shrank. I'm glad I was able to find it on here. It's basically a box with pocket hole type mounting. I never had problem with installing 2 gang boxes or larger because there's enough width for me to use my hex 1/4" quick change Milwaukee right angle adapter to screw the side into stud. This beats all those single gang boxes out there by far because you can mount it to stud without destroying the drywall. It has two 1.5" black oxide fine thread drywall screws. It's about 45 degree angle and the outside is barely enough clearance so I used a ratchet and 4" PH2 bit. I attached the box with Gorilla Ultimate Clear Adhesive for 24hr before I screwed it in. I cut the "tent opening" widely for the 10 awg wires before I mounted it. I will post more pictures. ## Features - 1-gang electrical box for single light switch or outlet - Step down feature for entering wire in both top and bottom - Built-in wire clamps for ease of assembly - Mounts to both wood and metal studs - Heavy duty 42 lb mounting screws included ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00H8NUVM4 | | Best Sellers Rank | #129,420 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #110 in Outlet Boxes | | Brand | Southwire | | Brand Name | Southwire | | Capacity | 22.5 cubic inches | | Color | Grey | | Colour | Grey | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 934 Reviews | | Finish Type | Unfinished | | Finish type | Unfinished | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00784297017636 | | Included Components | MSB22+ | | Installation Type | Screw-In | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 17.3D x 15.2W x 17.3H centimeters | | Item Type Name | 1-GANG PVC ELECTRICAL BOX | | Manufacturer | Southwire | | Material | Polyvinyl Chloride | | Model Number | MSB22+ | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Part Number | MSB22+ | | Product dimensions | 17.3D x 15.2W x 17.3H centimeters | | Specification Met | Ul | | Style | Original | | UPC | 784297017636 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Southwire - **Colour:** Grey - **Material:** Polyvinyl Chloride - **Product dimensions:** 17.3D x 15.2W x 17.3H centimeters - **Style:** Original ## Images ![Southwire Electrical Box for Lighting Fixture, 50lb Ceiling Fan and 75lb Light Fixture Support, 22.5Cu with Depth Adjustment, 1 Gang, Gray, MSB22+ - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/5178VHxjxUL.jpg) ![Southwire Electrical Box for Lighting Fixture, 50lb Ceiling Fan and 75lb Light Fixture Support, 22.5Cu with Depth Adjustment, 1 Gang, Gray, MSB22+ - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Eo4zVdYYL.jpg) ![Southwire Electrical Box for Lighting Fixture, 50lb Ceiling Fan and 75lb Light Fixture Support, 22.5Cu with Depth Adjustment, 1 Gang, Gray, MSB22+ - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/21TTn2H3t2L.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Product *by R***J on 19 October 2025* Good Product.
