Unusable
This was supposed to be course, as in ground, as evinced by the very misrepresentative photo on the bag. It was solid rocks and not what was promised on the bag. Unusable. I could not even break it up with a hammer.

Coarse means grain size pieces not 5 fist size pieces, please understand and rectify.
False advertisement, it clearly states coarse rock salt which usually means grain size bits, not 5 fist size bits, near impossible to practically use efficiently in cooking.

Sting flavour
The media could not be loaded. Got a surprise when I open the pack and saw the size of some of the salt rocks think the package needs to say that they are rocks not just coarse salt I smashed a piece of salt in my pestle and mortar and then put it in my salt grinder as you can see in the video because the salt is so strongly flavoured I have to mix it with Himalayan pink salt it does have a slightly different flavour and odour I will be trying it out as a foot soak as it says in the description it is filled with 84+ minerals perfect for cooking and for use as bath salts I’ve given it four stars because it needs a better description rocks not coarse grain

God quality Black rock salt.
I am used to using rock black salt. Usually, I like it in two ways one just grinds it plan salt and I used a pinch of it with the normal salt in a few of the curries. It has quality digesting food. My whole family does that.I also use black salt for making pain puri which is South Asian street food. WIth out black salt, it does not taste the same. I also grind cumin seeds and ajwain with this and it is so good for when someone has a gas problem. The salt has the same strong smell which it should have. The quality is good. This packet is going to last for many days. I will for sure buy it again.Black salt is really good in many ways.

Very strong odour
This salt has a really strong odour like rotten eggs when you open it. It isn’t quite as strong once taken out of the packaging. I was a bit taken aback when I opened the packet as the salt comes in big rock sized chunks and having seen some other reviews I was a bit worried about how I was going to break it up. Anyway, I used my mortar and pestle and it crushed it really easily. In its powdered form it also smells a little less but it is still off putting it so I can’t bring myself to put it in my food but I have happily used it on my feet which are quite rough. It does work in soften and refreshing the skin as it definitely feels softer after use.

Huge pieces of salt, not really usable
I’m very disappointed with these salt ROCKS. So I ordered these with the intention to use them in a standard salt mill to use in cooking, they are described as course and the pictures on the product page all suggest that they are a few millimetres wide pieces, in reality there was a bit of a mix in the bag I received but the majorly of the pack was massive rocks of salt, way too big to use in a mill, I think really too big to do much with. There were some smaller bits in the bag that I can only assume broke off from the larger pieces, these were fine in the salt mill but honestly, I’m so disappointed I think for the big pieces I will need to crush them down with a hammer or something but that really feels like a lost of work that I don’t expect to have to do when spending £12 on a small bag of salt.

I would suggest manufacturer to make it a bit smaller before packing to make my life a bit easier
This is a review for Black Salt Coarse (500gm) by Naturevibe Botanicals, it was £11.98 at the time of review. When I ordered it, I thought it will be at most slightly bigger than a coffee bean. This is my understanding of coarse at the maximum point. But I know I was wrong when I open this pack, they are basically a few big black salt rocks made up to 500g. I smashed it to a smaller piece with a hammer and place it in a salt mill, it does works and the taste is ok. I would like to suggest to the manufacturer to make the rocks smaller in order to make our life a bit easier when doing the seasoning. This is not a normal expectation.
