It proved to be the best product. Baby was not latching from the time of birth till a month. After using shield, it took sometime but slowly baby started latching. Used it for 2 weeks and after that baby strated drinking milk directly. Sometimes breastfeeding can be painful but shield can help during those times too.It has one major drawback, if used for long time milk volume keeps decreasing this good for initial days Or when it's really needed.

I think I would be exclusively pumping if it weren't for this & I think that would be really tough.

They are easy to clean. I used them for 6 weeks straight, and there wasn't any signs of damage. I went on to nurse my daughter for over two years.
