This pandemic got in the way of trip to Greece last year, and I have really missed authentic Greek food ( while I can cook it myself, it takes time and I guess I'm lazy :-) ). There is, or was, a restaurant near the foot of the Acropolis which serves beans very much like these. These cans are not cheap, but they are close enough to the gigantes I can get in Athens that I don't mind splurging a little. Oh, and those comments here about the dented cans? Someone may be paying attention as my cans did come intact / no dents.

I love love love these beans. As a non meat eater these are a refreshing addition to any meal or snack. I love eating them with sweet small peppers.

I found Greek style bake beans long ago, and they are do GOOD. The brand I hand then is long gone but I won't forget the flavor and texture. This brand seems to be continually/regularly producing. They are more variable, not cooked to perfection, BUT, worth the price, I'll probably order again. Love Greek giant baked beans.

These beans are great warm or cold because they are made with olive oil. They are flavored very nicely too. The beans are nice and firm and the cans are always in perfect condition.

They always taste great just like if you made them yourself! I let them cook down a little bit because it makes the sauce a little bit thicker and it soaks into the beans. Great brand I have been eating delicious food from since I was little! It’s imported from Greece! I just wish the price was less!

Beans are very large, and surprisingly smooth textured. They have a mild, tasty flavor. Generally, I enjoy Greek food, and dilled foods, but find the dill seasoning overwhelming and out of balance for these beans. Will try again from a different producer because the beans are worth another try on their own merit..
