Awesome conclusion
Each book in this series has gotten progressively better. That's tough to pull off in a six book series. This book brought more depth to the characters and to the world. There is some exploration of faith and politics not often seen in action books (but is one of my favorite things to see in scifi and fantasy). Lots of action keeps things interesting. Great book. Sorry to see the series end. Maybe the author will pick up a new story arc down the road so we can get to see some more of Wholesale Slaughter!

Great wrap to a great series
I just finished Redemption's Shadow, Rick Partlow's 6th and final novel in the Wholesale Slaughter series. As with all the previous books in the series this was full of action, intrigue, and unexpected twists. The ending was a surprise; I did not see it coming (although Rick dropped some hints in the body of the novel). I recommend the series to anyone interested in adventure Science Fiction with a military theme. It's well written and has strong character development. A final note: I'm glad Rick didn't tie up all the loose ends. There are opportunies for a sequel series.

A GREAT series
Realistic fighting, plausible politics, human decency and loyalty abound. Happily NOT interminable, as well.I would like to see what happens with the Jeuta: I suspect that is not beyond possibility, Rick? Thanks for the absorbing and enjoyable read!

Lots of action
I not a critic, just an avid reader. If you are looking for a good story this is it. Lots of interesting characters. Good guys, bad guys and some really strange people. The plot moves right along with some interesting turns that keep you wondering what is next. Great adventure.

Redemption's shadow
When I read the end of Judas Kiss, the book before this in the series, I was afraid I wasn’t going to like the author very much at the end of the sixth book, Redemption’s Shadow. But even there is sacrifice and sadness in this book, it’s a very satisfying ending that still leaves room for more adventures. If this is the last we see of Wholesale Slaughter, though, I know they’ll still be out there fighting bad guys somewhere. Great series! *****

The very best action series I've ever read!!!!!!
From the very beginning Mecha pilot Lt. Logan ran forward helping people all over the Dominion. As A mercenary for hire, thus enter "Wholesale Slaughter". The intrigue, suspense, battle, never seems to slow down. And yet "Captain" / Colonel Logan Branngan keeps his crew and humanity in the forefront of every operation.Absolutely wonderful writing

Great series in the mechwarrior world, but not specifically connected to the Battletech universe.
Great series, set in the mechwarrior world, but no real connection to the original Battletech universe. There's no stardate or even a physical linkage to the Inner Sphere/great houses (Davion, Kurita, etc.). Maybe periphery, but timeline, much further into that future, maybe a thousand years. There are a couple of passages that refer back to old earth, but no intermediate connection to the Inner Sphere/Star League. Even so, as a self contained series, it works well, and an enjoyable read.

Fantastic series
A total fun, kick ass read. The entire series moved all the characters getting a full range of growth and development. The science was highly plausible and more importantly understandable. Was a little disappointed that they're leaving a rogue AI out there somewhere guiding our heinous human mistakes. Thanks for a pleasurable and enjoyable read.

A ripping romp.
I have just concluded reading the current Wholesale slaughter series, and have to say that I loved it.Everything's there. Mechs larger than life characters, politics, drama, intrigue etc.Obviously there were a very few parts that seemed to me, to drag. But I'm an action junkie. Some interesting choices of character names😂It's open for more, and I for one am looking forward to it.

Excellent finish to a series
Lots of story lines closed out, characters that are still around nicely placed in scenarios that are believableThe ending leaves open the opportunity for a whole new series of books based on the further adventures of Wholesale Slaughter, but not sure that is the authors intention, but I do hope it is
