Was not clear from the listing but the top material is more like a thick netting which means if you are wearing bright or patterned socks you can see them through the netting like material so best worn with dark socks.Otherwise sturdy and comfy.

I’m a size 10 UK and purchased size 11 UK because I read reviews here saying Merrell size small, plus I already own and have been using Merrell barefoot running shoes for many years, which although comfy do feel quite tight. It was a good call because the size 11 fit my size 10 feet comfortably out of the box. I tried them out for an hour on my treadmill with no issues, so comfort wise they’re good.I purchased them for an upcoming summer holiday city break, where I’ll be walking Amsterdam’s old town canal districts daily, so the ventilation will hopefully be welcome if we have a hot summer. As for longevity I can comment as it’ll be months before I get to pound the streets, but if they suffer any deterioration when I do, I’ll update the review this summer 2023…

I loved these but they seemed a little too small around my big toe. ideally I would have preferred to have swapped the size 11 for an 11.5 but I couldn't see the option to do so, so have just returned.

Pour mes randonnées en sentier l'été ou dans la forêt, ils sont très confortable et soutiennent bien les pieds. Je les utilise depuis peu de temps, alors je ne peux pas évaluer leur durabilité, mais au quotidien, pour moi, ils sont parfaits et dans mes préférés parmis mes autres marques. Bon prix, confortables, respirent bien et légers.

Muy cómodos y a muy buen precio

I bought these shoes for my trip to Puerto Rico. Worn them to El Yunque rainforest twice. Hiked on muddy trails, trekked through river, swam through river, walked on rocks by waterfalls. The shoes did amazing. They did stay damp after swimming in them but were not soaked sponges like regular sneakers would be. Also they provided good amount of protection against rocks, roots, etc. I washed them by hand to remove dirt and mud and they are ready for the next adventure.These run true to size. My feet are wide and width was great for me. I did not have time to break them in so put them on for a day long trip and did not get any blisters or pain (also wore them with thin socks). Great shoes for adventures!
