Super product - super support.
This unit has been a workhorse for its first year. The power consumption has been exactly to specification; remarkably low. The noise level is low when running and the on off cycling is not excessive; it hold the cold well. We have used it in weather exceeding 100F. The build quality is very good. I use this in my van build. Having the ability to hard freeze items has allowed for extended off grid trips. The most loved feature is the ability to open the lids on either side. We have our extending sideways across the van just behind the drivers seat. This allows us access to one half of the unit for cold drinks, and both compartments from the kitchen side. Since either compartment, or both can be freezers, we have had ice cream snacks on the road as well. ICECO stands by their product. We had a minor glitch and Customer Service was both highly responsive in troubleshooting and then providing what was needed under warranty. As a result we did not miss a single scheduled outing this last summer. I trust this company as they have demonstrated being trustworthy. We are now considering an additional unit for our cabin. Since it runs on either 12vDC or 120vAC it is a perfect choice for an area with power uncertainty. We wonโt face spoiled freezer messes again. Our unit is a year old and lacks some abilities of current manufacture. I understand that current manufacturing includes Bluetooth with CarPlay compatibility, and some improvement to operating logic. These changes can only make a good unit even better. Yep, big fan of the product and company.

Efficient, great build quality and stays cold in hot temperatures
Iโve been using the ICECO VL75 Pro D for almost 2 years now, it's a great unit and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. This fridge handled multiple camping and overlanding trips in the hot desert without breaking a sweat (my kids had ice creams in the desert), it maintained consistent cooling even when outside temps hit triple digits. The dual-zone design is perfect for keeping food and drinks at different temperatures, and the build quality feels rock-solid and premium. What impressed me just as much as the product is ICECOโs customer service. After more than a year and half of use, I reached out with a concern, and they went above and beyond to make things right, even offering a replacement unit. That kind of dedication to customer satisfaction is rare these days and really sets the brand apart. If youโre looking for a reliable, durable, and efficient fridge/freezer for camping or long trips, the VL75 Pro D is worth every penny. Highly recommend this model and the ICECO team behind it.

Camping? Emergency? Tailgating or party? Great Product
Being a family that enjoys the outdoors and camping, we were looking for a portable refrigerator that could fit in our trailer, or the back of our vehicle with no problems. We were looking at ARB, Snomaster and Domentic. However, those were very pricey for the size options they had. We started seeing ads and the brand ICECO as we were shopping around were intrigued by the price for the size options. We decided on this model because of size, dual freezer or fridge option, removable lids and the slide the fits in trailer. However, upon receiving the unit, our residential full size refrigerator started to act up and we needed something to safe what we had. So we used the ICECO vl75 ProD in hopes it would help us get by until the full size unit was fixed. It did that and more as we have had to use it multiple times. Taking it camping was even more of a shock in a positive manner. We had it powered up through the DC port, in ECO mode and small battery draw. With solar panels to charge the trailer during the day, the fridge maintained temperature and and never drained the batteries. We have it on the slide out (built-up to clear the door way) and found that to be the easiest way to access both sides of the ICECO vl75 with ease. However, the last time we had to run it in doors as our backup, I made a mistake. I had it plugged in to the DC port of our electric generator (couldn't find the AC plug) and it was working great. I found the AC plug and forgot it was plugged in to the DC port still. The AC module had agreed to burn out. Customer Service - I reached out to ICECO for the above issue and after trouble shooting the issues, via photos and suggestions from the staff, it was determined that the AC module was no longer properly working. The staff is willing to send us a new unit ILO a refurb and we ARE GREATFUL for that. All-in-all we are very pleased with our ICECO vl75 ProD and have suggest ICECO as a whole to many friends and family members. Their products have not only saved us in a time of need but also served us in a time of joy. I would recommend them for value, quality and performance as well as staff.

Solid performer - far exceeded my expectations - highly recommended
I am thoroughy impressed with the performance of this 75L Iceco cooler. I am also impressed with the build quality, functionality, and usable space. This is an absolute winner, and the only thing I would caution users is that it is heavy, so be mindful should you need to move it after filling it up with your goodies. I have had the opportunity to use this cooler on two recent occasions. One was a road trip, which was about a straight 6-hour drive from home to destination. The weather was mid-90s, with a blazing hot sun. During this trip, the cooler was in the bed of my pickup truck. My pickup is black with a hard folding tonneau cover. Nicely, this cooler does not protrude above the top of the bed walls, so I was able to close the tonneau cover. During the commute, I repeatedly checked the cooler temperature via the free Iceco app, and to my amazement, the cooler performed flawlessly. Not one time was it above the set temperature of 37 degrees. This cooler was simply able to keep up with the demands of the extreme heat. Upon arriving at our destination, we determined the hotel did not have the refrigerator space for all of our food, so I needed to haul the cooler to the hotel room. That took some doing. First, I needed to take everything out of the cooler to make it manageable, which is made easy when using the baskets (more on the baskets below). I did so, then put the cooler on the hotel cart, then brought everyhting to the room. Be advised we were at a Hampton Inn, and the luggage cart would not accommodate the cooler along the length, so I needed to load the cooler perpendicular to the cart. That worked great, until I discovered the cooler would not fit through the elevator door. So, I ended up loading the cooler along the length of the cart, angled between the cart rails. Needless to say, I was quite sweaty by the time I got to the room. When we left, my wife and I just carried the empty cooler to the car, which was much easier than using the cart. As far as using the device, setting the temperature is very easy (please note the cooler does not cool both sides at the same time. It does one side, then the other). I didn't put a whole lot of thought into the versatility of the covers, not expecting it to be such a big deal. Well, after using it, I will say that is a very nice feature that the doors can be opened from either side. I did take note over that trip that I was pretty much taking advantage of the dexterity pretty regularly. We had this cooler running in the hotel room for three days non-stop, and it was not disruptive at all. It runs very quiet and had no affect on sleep. It is also so much easier to use than the hotel fridge. While it was plugged into the pickup truck I was able to monitor the power draw through the onboard power management system - the energy demand was nominal, and my truck's 7.2 Kw system was more that capable of handling the cooler. Advice to users: -The 75L cooler is big and heavy even when empty - I am able to manage it by myself (6'02", 225 lbs), but I recommend a two-person carry. So much easier. -While the cooler was in the flatbed, and my phone in the passenger compartment, the app connection was a bit fussy. I needed to hold my phone in just the right spot to connect to the cooler. Not a big deal, just a point of note. Advice to manufacturer: The large cooler basket needs to have handles that protrude above the wall of the cooler. Consider my situation I mentioned above - I needed to remove the baskets to lift the cooler out of the truck and put it on the luggage cart. The basket was heavy, and I literally had to lift it by my fingertips. I was able to, but I am a pretty strong guy. I can say my wife would not be able to do that at all. Also, when lowering the basket back into the cooler, you have a choice - get your fingers pinched between the cooler walls and the basket - ouch - or lower it as far as you can and let the basket drop into the basin, risking damage to the cooler floor. Neither are good options. I ended up removing everything from the basket, installing the basket, and putting everything back in. This defeats having the basket in the first place. Adding handles to this basket would make a huge difference. Finally, I had the need to contact Iceco customer service regarding an ordering issue. They were great to work with. In this day of quality customer service being a fleeting memory, Iceco sets themselves apart. How refreshing. I am absolutely and thoroughly impressed with the performance of this cooler and Iceco, and I can recommend it whole-heartedly. Great job, Iceco!

Had to update my Review
This cooler/freezer holds temperature perfectly, the controls are extremely easy the unit is built very, very well. Iโm a retired refrigeration tech and the technology on this is just amazing. I have not tried it on 12 V but on 110 V is perfect holds everything exactly as set. If you are looking for a portable cooler, freezer that you do not have to worry about I would highly recommend this unit. UPDATE: The unit was working great until three days ago when we were planning a long road trip. I noticed the display was flashing E5. I checked the manual and it stated the compressor was over heated. Now the location we have it has 8โ all the way around the unit. The Temperature of the area is approximately 75 F, inside out camper which is plugged in to shore power of 120 VAC. I called customer service and because of the time zone, Iโm on the East Coast there on the West Coast I left a message. Approximately four hours later I got a return call but I had no service. I called them back and I believe this is a call center they took some information and said that I would be contacted by email which to date I have not received anything. I did not want to reschedule my trip so I ended up going to camping world and buying another unit but a different manufacture. I do not want to give This company a bad review but I am a disappointed that Iโve had to spend another $1500 for a refrigerator and freezer. I think it is a very well built unit I may have just gotten a unit with an issue. I can hear the fan running and the compressor tries to come on then clicks off! The display dims then back to normal. I will update my review once I hear from ICECO. I was finally contacted by email asking me a very basic question and I answered it now Iโm waiting once again for a response. I would have to say I have dealt with much easier customer service companies in the past. It would be nice to be able to talk to someone and hopefully get a resolution before the warranty expires. When you spend over $1000 for a small refrigerator/freezer you would think They would be a little more responsive so until then it will remain a one star review. I received additional emails and asking me a variety of questions and I answered the best that I could. They did acknowledge that they are a firm in China but they sell to the US. We had to take it over to an appliance shop they were able to repair it, $487.50 later it is not working correctly. I believe that the customer service truly was trying itโs just the time difference the time zones did not allow us to ever talk on the phone and probably the language barrier. I believe itโs a good company I believe itโs a good product I just got one that I had an issue so Iโve increased the stars back to four. If you do decide to purchase one and you have a problem try to be very patient, not one of my virtues but they did try.

VL45ProS TLDR (so just buy it) or Read review below
I tried using a Costway 55qt for about 3 years and although it was ok, I always had my eye on one of the Iceco โPROโ line products. That Iceco lid is GENIUS! Opens from either side. The Costway is a VERY inexpensive (compared to ARB) knock-off and might be ok as your first fridge. Even with the optional insulated cooler bag for the Costway, the dairy section got too warm (45+F) and the main section would sometimes freeze items. The indicated temp on the LCD display never came close to the temp inside the cooler. With trial-and-error and a BT thermometer and a second portable thermometer inside the fridge, I was able to get a mostly consistent 36 degrees. Enter the Iceco VL45ProSโฆwith some surplus funds and circumstances (Prime Day sale) I finally pulled the trigger. The fridge arrived quicker than I expected and in perfect shape. The shipping box wasnโt damaged and the corners were fine. The fridge feels solid and heavier than it looks. I thought I wanted a dual zone but did not want the extra weight (and cost) and I already have a fridge slide that fits the VL45ProS (see quick note below). Quick note: in 2019, I bought on Amazon the Tuff Stuff 55QT fridge slide out. It fit the Costway with room to spare and has been perfectly functional. However, it is NOT wide enough to fit the VL45ProS, unlessโฆyou remove ALL 4 lower feet/corners. Initially kicking myself for not measuring this more closely, I decided for my application (mounted in a SUV on a dedicated fridge slide out) I did not see any issue removing the 4 protective feet/corners and mounting screws. If you want a slide out for this model, make sure you get one with inside dimensions that are at least 16 inches wide (16.25 to be safe). The 29.25 length of my slide out is not an issue. Removing the fridge from the box I heard the food basket rattle quite a bit and could tell this would make a lot of unnecessary noise. So, using ยผ inch rubber fuel hose, I cut 16, one-inch pieces. Then carefully cut a slit lengthwise so that the hose can be put on the thicker wire of the basket where it was contacting the wall. I am still able to lift and remove the basket and when the hose contacts the side, it just spins like a roller but stays in place on the wire. No more rattle! Since I already had a BT thermometer (SensorPush HT1) and Digital Indoor Thermometer (Accurite 00613) (bought both from Amazon), I didnโt need built-in functionality (Dometic or others). A built-in icemaker was also not on my must have list. I am hopeful that Iceco has made improvements over the past few years and that this will be a really great fridge. PROS (for me): Secop compressor with 5-year warranty Will operate at up to 40-degree incline/tilt AC plug is regular IEC (computer power cord) = no need for a special adapter/power module/brick Final Note: 12-volt sockets are not the most secure method to supply DC power to a fridge. No matter the fridge manufacturer they can get loose or come undone. If not having your food spoiled is important, then please consider where and how the power cable is routed and what is near it that may result in disconnection. Nothing will ruin a trip faster than a cooler that is off and no longer cooling (usually discovered after it is too late). Most vehicles turn OFF power to the 12-volt socket when the vehicle is OFF. Check your vehicle = never assume. ๐ Update on Issue: Lid Rattles I reached out to ICECO via email and they were prompt and easy to deal with. They sent a new lid as an attempt to resolve. I did confirm that it is not a redesign, but the same lid I already have. Excessive play in the latches and pivot pins are allowing for too much movement. Looking for the easiest fix, I applied 1/2 round adhesive "rubber feet" to all 4 corners of the fridge. The feet sit up about 1/8 of an inch high and fixed the issue seen in my attached video.

Reliable, high quality fridge with great support
Iโve been really happy with my ICECO refrigerator. Itโs solid, well-built, and super convenient to use. It cools fast, holds temperature well, and is perfect for everyday use and travel. You can tell itโs made with quality in mind. I did reach out to customer service with a small question, and they were quick, professional, and easy to work with. They handled everything smoothly, which just added to my confidence in the brand. Overall, great product, great customer service, and a company I trust. Iโll definitely continue using and recommending ICECO.

Game Changing
First electric fridge. This is a game changer. No ice means all space for food. I was looking at the APL55 but Amazon gave me this awesome unit for the same price deal. I had not idea. 75 liters is ALOT. Not mad at it at all. I was able to take all the food for our entire group for three days. Plus put 12 soda cans in it. I could have Jenga'd this thing even better I just didn't need to. We had 48 hot dogs an entire sleeve of burgers like 20 burgers. 3 Sam's club sandwich meat containers a bag of avocado cups, yogurts, cheese slices and a Sams club pack of string cheese. Blue berries, strawberries, apples, celery, a full box of butter, and full size condiments, all of them, plus 12 pack. This unit used 40-60 watts and was easily ran from a solar panel. The best part of this unit besides the space is the LIDS. They can be opened either direction and lifted off. This came with baskets so I was able to bring into house and put everything in the baskets carry out to the truck pop the lids and drop in. Close lids DONE that easy WOW. I know I am late to this game but glad to be here now. I used to take 2-3 yeti's have to freeze the blue cubes and get ice. Now I use my roadie to just have ice, for adult beverages. If I could do over I would have literally saved money. No more soggy packages or having to bag everything and buy ice and worry about ice. I didn't know how much that weighted on me but now I do the peace of mind and maintaining food quality and integrity. This unit is big but worth all the space it consumes. If you're a small family the 55 would probably be fine, just hard to think that after all these years of using ice and never getting to use all the space for food.

Best cooler ever
This is an amazing cooler. Use it at home as a beer fridge in the garage or in the box of my truck when I'm travelling/ camping. Jackery will run it for days, when I'm driving it runs off the 12v outlet I put in the box of the truck.

Best 12v cooler for the price
Very efficient, rugged, great design. Pulled 35watts to run in 40 degree weather and had no issue running off my portable power Bank and solar panel kit.

Lid versatility is a bonus
Appears well built; testing showed 38W power in eco mode; 55 in max mode to get freezing down to -18C. Fairly quiet when running (but you can hear the fan). Basket is a good idea for putting things in and out of cooler. Love the versatility of the lid.

Cool cooler
This cooler works well. Itโs at temperature in about 30 minutes and holds temperature very well. Well built as well. There are printable corner brackets available if you have access to that sort of thing. My only criticism is with no power applied, it warms up quickly so keep that in mind.
