While the bulb works exactly as intended, it has a big ugly square of text right on the crown of the bulb. Why in the world would you make special old fashioned decorative bulbs and then ruin them with a large square of text stating UL listings/wattage/etc right where the bulb is exposed?Luckily, the text rubbed off easily with some nail polish remover and a cotton ball. Of course, now the bulb is completely unlabeled, but it's worth it in order to not have a bunch of ugly white writing all over the most visible part of the bulb. They are now attractive bulbs and work well so far.As a side note, I have not tried dimming.
