When wearing it while running, the belt has good stability and balance with a 12-oz water bottle in the bottle holder and the buckle assembly worn in front. The zipped pocket holds a cell phone and a small snack. The comfortable waist strap adjusts easily, and the two loose ends of the straps stow out of the way under reflective loops. If you are fairly limber, you can grab your water bottle and return it to its storage location when the bottle is riding in the middle rear of your waistline, all without unbuckling the waist band. From my experience wearing it when I run, its quality, appearance and functionality I give high marks.
