Very soft
Used this rug on my covered front porch. Itโs very soft and good quality for the price.

If you are ok with not having a super plush rug you will be happy!
Ok I literally just opened and placed my rug down. I really wanted to share my review immediately to pay it forward for all those helpful reviews I read to arrive at this purchase.Like most of you, I was looking for a large area rug under $100 that was strong enough to be functional without being hard, super thin or scratchy. Assuming I would probably have to sacrifice a bit on style, I still wanted a rug that blended in with the environment, without looking and feeling cheap or flimsy. I knew that for the for the price point I would have to let go of the idea of having a super plush rug but the other things were deal breakers. I wasn't looking for something to sit and watch TV on, entertain on, or impress anyone with. For me, this rug is meant to be a sort of feet duster around our bed because I absolutely hate getting in bed to feel debris in the sheets. Gross, I know. There may be some out there wondering, "Why I don't just sweep my floor?" Well, I do. I even have an awesome robot vacuum that cleans constantly. But when you have kids and pets on all tile floors, it's just a hard thing to keep perfectly clean. Enter: my need for an area rug under my bed.The rug is as expected! It looks like the picture. Has a really nice balance of earth tones with blue/greys. It is waaaay softer than I expected. To be clear, not the softest but I wasn't expecting that to begin with. I was expecting one of those scratchy, itchy rugs that gets all over your clothes when you sit on it but this is actually soft. It is not thick but it is soft. Even lacking in the thickness I knew I would have to compromise on, it is a far cry from uncomfortable. I could easily sit on this while playing with pets/kids and it would be a huge improvement from the hard, cold (usually a little dirty) tile floor.I also want to address the issue of smell as some reviewers mentioned it smelling bad. It smells fine. Mine smelled like a very subtle cleaner. Not strong at all. I literally put my face against the rug and took a big whiff to even smell that. While the rug's design is nothing like I originally had in mind, I couldn't resist giving this a try since the next option I had in mind was more than double the price of this rug. The question for me was, "Will the savings be worth the compromise in style/thickness or will I ultimately have wasted the money and end up just buying both because I'm dissatisfied?" Compromise worth it! I am unequivocally happy. I am so glad I spent less half the money and still have a rug that is both practical and blends well with it's environment. Bonus that it's actual soft and not paper thin!!The rug was folded in half and then rolled around a heft cardboard tube. This means that the ends actually laid flat right out of the packaging! That never happens -- especially with thinner rugs! Bonus - if you have kids, they will entertained for hours by the giant tube. Another bonus, when I feel the rug has ran it's course as an indoor rug, it will be a great fit on my patio.Bottom line - if you are ok with a neutral design, not having the thickest rug but are just needing something soft to have over your existing floors I believe you will be pleased with this. If you are expecting a plush $400 rug you will not be happy. The makers of this rug went through a lot of trouble to add value so that it feels worth both the cost and the compromises.

I bought 3!
It's the price. I got 7x12, 6x9, and 3x12 for family room, dining room, and hallway; all in the neutral stripe pattern. The rugs went flat after a day. The chemical smell also went away in a day. The quality is not high but for the price, it is fine. The backing is some kind of white substance (runner has non skid backing) that will flake in time. I have luxury vinyl planks (what a way to say vinyl flooring) thru out. In the future I may have to remove them to mop up the white flakes. For now, I am pleased with these rugs. Another reason I like them is the neutral tone and the thin stripes. The rugs don't scream for attention or show an obvious style era. They are there to tie the room together and not fight furniture for attention. What more can I ask for?

Awesome Rug & Company
Love the rug and have been recommending it to everyone! It is super soft and well made (you get what you pay for - but better than expected). Upon unrolling (which by the way, it laid flat with no wrinkling after about 2 days - if that) and laying out, we discovered a ripped area around the outer layer. I was disappointed because the size of it was a beast to get out and laid out and I really did NOT want to have to go through the hassle of repackaging and returning it (we got the 7 x 12). I reached out to the company to see what could be done, and the very next morning I got a response back asking for my shipping address to send me another one free of charge! I was very impressed with the excellent customer service. Our replacement rug was sent out with a tracking number the same day. We havenโt opened the second one yet, but hoping for better results this time around.

A steal!! 5 stars! Bravo!
I bought this rug on a whim wanting a plain tan colored rug kinda. When i looked at the reviews i saw many mixed reviews. I needed something 7ft by 12ft. I was worried there would be blues, green, and red in this "earth tone" rug. The manufacturer said there normally isnt blues reds and greens in the earth tone option so i went on a whim and ordered it! Its a steal for the size!! Its very pretty, and plain enough for my style. A lot of people said the rug wasnt soft but it certainly isnt rough. I did buy a rug from home depot that was $180 and it is much softer and more plush but this one isnt bad, i can certainly lay on it naked if i so please, rug burn is possible on it though. Its not squishy plush on your feet like luxury rugs but its simple, inexpensive, pretty and soft to walk on. This is a lightweight rug, its thin so yes it will have some creases, it will take some weight and time to fully lay on the floor flush, although ours seemed to be rolled very well unlike some other people complained about. Id totally purchase this rug again. You cant beat the price! For a 7 by 12 rug, this is easily over $100 less than other sellers

Fantastic for the price
I got the 7'x12'. It looks fantastic in my 12'x13' livingroom. It's thin, so if you're wanting a soft cushion, I would suggest getting a 1/4-1/3in padding to go underneath it. It also slips and slides but I have heavy furniture sitting on the edges of my rug, so it doesn't budge at all. The colors of the rug I received are grey, black, cream and tan stripes, which match perfectly with my decor. I vacume on medium setting and so far no loops have come undone and no snagging. The strong "earthy" smell of the rug went away after about 2 days.Eventually I would like to get a plush, thick rug but until I can afford it, this rug will do just fine. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Perfect with a nice, thick rug pad
This rug is amazingly good quality for the price! Especially since I needed a weird size (7 x 12) for a long thin bedroom. This one is perfect! Definitely recommend spending a little extra on a thick wool pad underneath -- it's not that much more and seriously levels it up.
