Review: Such a sneaky and effective little lock - I love it! Red, so u can see it! - What a great theft deterrent device for under $20! AND it has an alarm that is LOUD! It may not be rechargeable, but you CAN replace the battery. This is why it came with that little Allen wrench! I was wondering.........had to come back to the product page and try to figure it out. My LECTRIC E-Bike now has FOUR locks! Where I live, there are NO bike racks to lock to. So I got a U-lock, a cable that goes with it, and the folding lock that came with the bike. Now, I have this fourth lock, a type of lock I never even knew existed until I went looking, and I feel a lot more confident now about leaving my $$$$$ bike outside the store. That monster is HEAVY! It's like a freakin' motorcycle! And now, I feel a lot safer, and freer! Lock is very easy to use; remove the little white rubbery cushion, throw it out. Remove the Allen wrench, it was stuck into the cushion. ;-) Keep it. Simply insert key to unlock and when you see it is unlocked, clip it onto your disc brake, and push the same silver button (where the key fits) down; it IS the locking part. You'll heart it beep twice. Any movement after that, and it's going to set that loud alarm off! To stop the alarm, you have to use the key to unlock it, or wait it out 30 LONG ear blasting seconds! I love that I got the red one, so it can be seen, a visual deterrent! It functions so easily, I love this style of lock! It comes in other colors too, yellow, for instance, highly visible, and says to a bike thief, "BACK OFF!" Its appearance is as you'd expect; Fits into the palm of your hand, or into the little velcro pouch it came with. I cinched mine up near the handlebars. Also, it comes with a long cord, so you can attach one end to the lock and the other end to your handlebar, so you don't forget to unlock it,, and try to drive off, and wreck your wheels. Be safe, wear a helmet!

**Q: Is this Worth spending my money**
A: I'm sorry but it is not worth! If this product is purchased for "mechanical" anti-theft (disc lock), then I do not recommend it!
Lightweight and not very durable. In my opinion, the black part is empty because it houses the sound part and the battery compartment. The only positive note is the sound part .. the sound is very loud!

**Q: How to replace the battery of this alarm disc lock?**
A: 1. Open the bottom 4 screws and open the cover 2. Take out the battery compartment and remove the old battery 3. Insert a new battery, paying attention to "+" and "-" 4. Replace the battery compartment, close the cover, and secure it with screws again to complete the task

**Q: I would like to know what the diameter of the pillar of this motorcycle lock is. Is the diameter the same for different colors?**
A: I guess you want to know this size. The diameter of the lock pillar is 0.25 inch, I think this is in line with almost 99% of motorcycle disc brakes unless your disc brakes have no holes.

**Q: Can this be used in rainy days?**
A: It is not waterproof, the lock cylinder became rusty after using in a rainy day, the worest is I used it on my bike and it can not be opened with the key! I have to find a locksmith to open it. The cost is much expensive than the lock itself. BAD EXPERIENCE!
