Color Changing LED Citronella Outdoor Scented Candle

To start, i VERY rarelyreview products, good or bad. But this one I wanted to so bad! When I opened it package I was a little confused because I remembered the candle said it was LED, but there were no buttons. Looked at the package again, and still confused, but thought I'd try it out anyway. I may be silly here, but when I say I was mind blown and impressed by whatever simple technology they use, I mean it, lol. When I lit the candle it immediately lit up with colors! ... Then blew it out, to see what would happen... colors went off! I'm am so excited about how the LEDS work on here (as it saves battery life on its own when not in use, and auto activated with fire type heat, not the hot outside heat) But also, the smell of citronella is fragrant and strong. I am an outside girl and it's been burning for about 3 hours now. Not a single mosquito in sight and before I got this, I was being eaten up. So far a happy girl and I feel like it deserved a happy review! Personally recommend

These are a great size. I’ve used them in my RV in my house outside. They’re portable and you can take them anywhere. The color of them makes them beautiful like any candle you’d want to have in your house, but with the out of benefit of keeping mosquitoes away. You just light them and the color immediately begins to change. I don’t know how it works, but it’s really cool. They don’t put off much heat. The glass that holds the candle can get a little bit warm, but not so hot that you can’t touch it and move it. The glass that they come in is super thick and very sturdy. I was very impressed by the quality, especially for the price that I paid. I have bought this candle multiple times and I will continue to buy it again.

I didn't know what to expect. But as soon as I lit it the colors began to change and continued until I blew it out. I did notice next day with the sun it was also changing colors although not lit. It kept the bugs away like most citronella candles. But the light show was well worth it and would buy again!

I got one of these just to see if they do what they claim, and while it did work well for the first few uses, I was convinced that there was a limit on the color change feature which is the only reason why I picked this particular one over other higher rated and better known citronella candles for my back porch. I was coming here to tear up the product in my review and all because it appeared to have a very limited amount of time in which to utilize the color change features only to see other reviews that explained the most probable reason to explain the short lived phenomenon. I see now that the candle can’t get wet at all because the water somehow deactivates the desired feature. Live and learn, right? I loved it at first, seems to keep the mosquitos away, but the LED stopped working less than half way through the candle. Now it is colorless.

I spent 5 minutes trying to figure out how to turn it on. So, i just lit it anyway and then the lights came on! Great citronella candle, nice light scent and keeps the skeeters away! I’ve purchased multiple. They don’t last a very long time, but worth it.

Don't buy it. I fell victim to believing what I read on the internet. It said this was the best. They LIED. I was bothered by a few skeeters, so I bought this. It arrived a couple days later. I was so excited! I ripped the package open and immediately lit the candle, fully expecting all nearby skeeters to scream in terror and fly away. Unbeknownst to me, these skeeters were a lot tougher than I thought. Apparently, they'd been having regular meetings, organizing a massive attack upon my person. They hovered around the edges of the candle area for mere seconds before dive bombing my legs. I swiftly grabbed my spray bottle of water and dawn dish soap, which kills them quickly. I began to spray my entire body and the area around me. Skeeters dropped like bricks as I spun in a circle while quickly pumping out foamy sprays and screaming, "say hello to my lil friend!" They kept coming, driven toward the flame of the candle, and then pivoting and attacking me. The battle didn't last long bc I retreated inside my house. The skeeters congratulated themselves for a battle well fought and won. The candle was still burning so the skeeters all sat around the rim and began to regale each other with their tales of battle. I spent the next hour rubbing itchy cream all over my body. Don't buy this. -Mek's wife
