When in doubt size up because it will shrink.
I ordered this shirt for my husband after we saw it in a museum gift shop but they didn't have his size.He seemed to be between a large and extra large when he tried it on there. So I ordered a large and extra large on Amazon. Ultimately we decided to keep the extra large because when it shrinked after we washed it, the fit was perfect. It's such a unique shirt. My husband is a big airplane and war history nerd so this shirt is perfect! He can't wait to wear it to our next tiki party.

Great shirt - great workmanship
GREAT shirt: fun take on a classic pattern paired with impeccable workmanship. The pocket's pattern is aligned exactly with the pattern of the shirt body: even the Curtiss P-40 propeller perfectly matches up. Coconut buttons. Despite being 100% cotton, there was little shrinkage when machine washed in warm/cool water & dried on low heat. Minimal (if any) ironing needed.True to size: my pilot husband typically wears a Large (he's 5'8" & 200#). This shirt in a Large fit perfectly. (The XL was huge). He *loves* the shirt and it looks wonderful on him.

What a cool shirt, there is nothing more American than Hawaiian shirts, except perhaps jeans and cowboy hats, and today "cowboys" wear cowboy hats indoors which is all wrong. Anyway, being a middle-aged divorced man, living in my car, an unbuttoned Hawaiian shirt, esp with a cigarette hanging out of my mouth, is a great f-ing look. This shirt rocks, WW2 fighter planes over Diamond Head, it fits great, it is the right material...perfect for passing out at a V.F.W. ,Firefighter, or Hipster bar in. Get a few of these and start your own 'cargo-cult' in hours. I highly recommend!

Love it!
My husband worked at the airport in the past. He's always loved airplanes. I purchased this shirt in two other colors so I purchased this one in blue. He loves it and it fits him great!

Decent shirt
I’ll never buy a shirt with rayon in it. This shirt is cotton. True it needs iron or pressing. But it is easy to care for otherwise ( meaning machine washable and no dry cleaning ) Be sure wash it first time in cold water. It may shrink a little but why risk it. So far it is a decent shirt.
