Sturdy. Clean cutting, I made cake donuts & WHOA they WERE gi-normous cp to store bought—& a real treat that tastes delightful! Perfect size donut holes too! I plan to use my smaller diameter Biscuit cutters to make some smaller sized donuts sometime, & I’ll simply cut the holes by centering this big 3.5” donut cutter over each circle of dough. One & done Donut cutter for multi-sized donuts! Nicely done.

Great product and as described. I used it for the first time this weekend and it cuts through the dough perfectly.

This doughnut cutter makes slightly larger doughnuts than what I am used to making (I didn't pay attention to the size listing in the headline.) The outside ring warps a little with other than gentle use, but it was easy to push back into place with no marking or warping left afterwards. The four dividers that hold the hole cutter in place are small and do not interfere with even thick dough. This size is comfortable to grip and hold, and the hole cutter is wide enough to shove a finger in to dislodge "stuck" holes. Very highly recommended. I much prefer this to the style my mom used, which had a hole cutter that slid in and out, and a closed top design (nearly impossible to dislodge stuck dough).

I just started making homemade donuts this year. They were so popular with my friends and family, that I decided to join my friend at the local farmer's markets to sell them. Very quickly, I was making up to 6 and 7 dozen at a time, at least twice a week! My neighbors began wanting them for birthdays and other special occasions. I was using a canning cap ring to cut out the donut and a plastic soda bottle cap to make the holes. While this worked decently, it was time-consuming, switching back and forth to make the holes. Also, I wanted to make sure that I was making my donuts in the most sanitary way possible. Finally, it dawned on me to look for a donut cutter (duh!), and Amazon.com was the only place I could find what I was looking for at a decent price. When the cutter arrived (very quickly, I might add), I couldn't wait to whip up a batch just to try out the cutter. I was cutting the donuts faster than I thought, and I wasn't having to fight the small bottle cap to get the hole out!!! I WAS THRILLED! It made the entire process so easy and cut production time literally in half! I LOVE THIS CUTTER! Plus, it's stainless steel and I don't have to worry about washing it and leaving it in the dish drainer to dry. AWESOME!!!

Ok, so I got past making my Poufy Buns, and decided that, if I could make them, I can make doughnuts, but I had one problem, I didn't have a cutter, and I was NOT going to use another glass to cut them. Amazon was the answer. I found the Ateco Stainless Steel Doughnut Cutter and that was it, at a full 3-1/2-Inches, it would be perfect. This cutter is amazing, and if you put a little flour in a bowl, and place the cutter in it, in between cuts, you will have the time of your life. It goes so fast, it will make you laugh, no kidding. I can't get over how sturdy it is, and what a great help it will be for me, each time I use it. After 46+ years of cooking, I am really baking again, and making the things I want to make, not just what I have to make for a huge family. I can't be more pleased that I will now have the tools to do it, and to do it right. Great helper in the kitchen, and makes baking and frying fun again too!

I used this today to cut out donuts. Was nice and sharp but the donut hole part didn't go all the way down to the countertop. So it didn't cut the donut hole all the way through. I had to gently lift the cutter - dough intact inside, flip it over and press around the hole to get it to cut through. I tried to push the hole part down enough to get it to go all the way through the dough but it's too sturdy. Ended up with great tasting and fluffy donut holes, but the donuts themselves were a bit less fluffy. I'll probably end up detaching the hole cutter, defeating the purpose of having one that's already attached. Guess it's wonky donuts for me.
