I don't know this particular battery, but Since I think B&D only make one model of 36V battery, and you have a 36 in the product code, it should fit.

Nooo, that’s not right. 2 or 3 hours perhaps, or longer if it’s been run flat. If the green light is flashing, it does sound connected though. Check how many bars have lit up, and turn it off for now. The charger won’t work if your battery overheats (through work or this -) Best of luck.

As far as I know Black and Decker only make one 36V battery. I am sure the battery you mention is 36V - that is what the 36 in the product code means, so this battery will fit your 36V strimmer. Compatible batteries can also be found online, often a lot cheaper and also higher capacity - the 20 in the product code means 2.0 Amp hrs, and you can get a 3.0 Amp hr compatible battery battery cheaper than the authentic B&D 2.0 one. My experience over several years is that the compatibles are generally of good quality.
