I really like the taste and convenience

I like these for a quick option for lunch, at work or home or on the go. My husband will mix one up before he leaves for practice in the winter (Wrestling) and at least he will have something in his stomach for after work and before dinner time. We love the taste and this flavor is not always easy to find in the store. yes it's salty, but that's probably why it tastes so good. It's better than an energy drink or a candy bar. So you have to choose your battles.

I am so glad that I found Lipton Cup-a-Soup online. I used to search for it at grocery stores. I can't believe they don't have it -- it's so delicious! They have the noodle versions, but not the cream of chicken. Why? It was so precious and hard to find that when I could, I rarely wasted it on the indulgence of a single cup of soup. Instead, I used it in a recipe my mother taught me growing up and then I added my own special addition, here's how to make it: 1 can of Canned white potatoes 1 can of sweet peas 1 packet of Lipton Cream of Chicken Cup-a-Soup 1/2 package of smoked sausage (That's my addition) First, heat up the smoked sausage in a 2 quart sauce pan. I like a little brownness and to be healthier drain off the fat when it's done. Next, add the potatoes and cook them until they turn somewhat translucent While they are cooking, open the peas and drain the pea juice into the potato can Add the cup-a-soup to the pea juice and mix until there are no lumps Pour the soup into the cooking sausage and potatoes Continue cooking until the potatoes are done to your liking Now, add the peas to the mix and stir carefully so you don't break the peas Let it cook a little longer until the peas are hot. Serve and enjoy. It's delicious and easy meal. Simple to prepare. Simple to clean up. My grandmother is a pretty traditional cook. She'd never had this dish and now, she asks for it all the time. She even asked me to look online to see if we could get the Cup-o-soup so she could have it more often!

A hearty soup with a full, satisfying flavor.

Bought for emergencies like being sick. Actually, this is really good. I'm amusing for chicken broth stock. With Thick natural salt 1/2 teaspoon, soy sauce 2 tbsp, Korean vegetable stock 1 (sold on Amazon), and green onion 2 for soup stock together, making a good soup. You can add 1/2 sweet onion, 1 fresh potato, 2 eggs, and 3 cloves of garlic together, making an awesome soup. Add water, yes, but actually need 6 cups of water for 1 and 1/2 cups of this cup, and soup packages need it. I loved taste. This package of cups and soup makes a big difference. Especially if you aren't very good at cooking.

I'm not that big on processed food products but now and then, on a cold day or if I'm not feeling well, I like something I can put together quickly and enjoy. The Lipton Cup a Soup Cream of Chicken is surprisingly nice for an instant product. You just boil some water (I just nuke it in a large cup I use just for that purpose), then pour it over the mix in a large mug and stir, stir, stir. As you stir the mix in, it blends very nicely and turns into a thick-ish cream soup that is very enjoyable. Does it taste like homemade soup? Probably not. But it has a very nice flavor and thickens up nicely. I don't have much to say for the other varieties, like the chicken noodle ones, as they are just watery and with very little chicken. The cream of chicken is smooth - no bits of anything - just the flavors you would expect. This is 48 packets of soup. If I am having it like a meal I will make 2 of them (each packet mixes with 6oz of water), so it's still a lot of servings but they have a decent shelf life. The ones I just received (Oct 2012) have a date of July 2013 on them. I take them out of the boxes and put the packets into Lock & Lock containers so that they will stay fresh plenty long.

You can't beat the quantity and price for these go to mug of nutrition and warmth. It also is a bonus because I can't find that any local stores carry cream of chicken anymore. Tasty and affordable!

Tasty and creamy. I sip on it daily from a 18oz. Insulated cup. It will stay hot for 6hrs.
