This base and the part# DS-1281ZJ-M ABM angled base allows you to tuck the wiring into the base and give a good water tight mount with a great form-factor look. It also allows for the camera to be spaced away from the surface where it is being mounted to, like Walls or Eaves where the light will reflect off of and give a whiteout affect.Buy more than what you need, you can always return unused unopened boxes, within the return time frame.They are not easily stack-able. You will have to use self-tapping screw to screw the base to the bottom cover. There are no holes to line up, so just line up the edges and screw them to together. I also recommend using plumbers putty to fill the hole at the wire exit point of wall or eave to keep a tight seam from the environment and Bugs.These bases have a good gasket on the bottom and between the base and cover.If this base is to be use in a High Rain or Moisture area, I recommend drilling a hole at the bottom point to allow any trapped condensed moister to escape and to equalize the air pressure when a hot surface becomes cooled very fast and make a vacuum affect on a sealed enclosure.This is not a paid review, But I do install camera system on the side.

Small hardware is always in the box, they work for several Hik cams and other brands. Highly recommended!

size was way off for our cameras. not as we thought so be careful with what you order, but the quality was ok.

Tried calling the support line for Kenuco and was on hold for over 60 minutes and they never answered the call. I needed help selecting the proper box for mounting my camera as this one was close but not correct. HIKvision junction boxes are very specific to each camera. I could not sort it out online and Kenuco never answered the line.

Awesome product, solidly built. Fit my slightly larger Hikvision DS-2CD2342WD 4K turret perfectly. Would definitely buy it again.

This junction box is perfect to manually adjust pam on dome cameras, and very easy to install.would even be better if cover plate was drilled for Reolink 135mm camera base.

I use this with my 2CD2342 HIKVISION camera. High quality construction. I image this will outlive the actual camera. Would buy more if I decide to get more cameras.
