My daughter wanted a mat and I didn't want one that would take up a lot of room. This fit the bill. The quality is great. We have had it out since Christmas and no air has leaked at all. It is really sturdy, not like an air mattress that has give. When it is filled, there isn't any give. I was worried about my dog on it, but it has even stood up to a bulldogs little nails. I love that it can be stored away easily and it blows back up in seconds.
