Cannot rate this highly enough, absolutely brilliant.
I bought this as I have a teenage daughter and wanted to be a better mum. This book had lots of practical advice to help. It's written by a Christian so linked to prayer and Bible verses. What a lovely inspiring lady!

Highly Recommend!
If you have a daughter, I would recommend buying this book. Several friends recommended it on Facebook and so I ordered it. Wise counsel on raising a young lady in a grounded, loving, patient way. The author is relatable and gets the ups and downs of friendship, the difficulty getting along with your daughter, and describes the struggles of fitting in and seeking the approval of others well. Just a solidly written book that is easy to read and gentle, but oh, so wise. Wish I had read this in my daughter’s middle school years, but even as she is graduating and heading to college, I find it useful with great insight on the psychology and spirituality of raising a daughter in today’s world. Kind of like a breath of fresh air and encouragement and even in the heated moments (and there are many), reading this keeps gentle reminders in the back of my mind, even as I lose my patience! Two thumbs up here - one of the better parenting books I have come across!

encouraging and insightful even in the younger years
I loved Kari Kampakis’ book More Than a Mom, and even though my daughter is not yet a teen or even a tween, thought I’d get this for future reading. I ended up devouring it and it has helped me handle things better now as my 7 year old gives me glimpses of her as a teen from time to time ;) There is a bit of an overwhelming list of all the things we could worry about our daughters dealing with in day and age in the book, but if you can push through that, it is inspiring, full of hope and encouragement of things in our control and things that we can let go in faith and trust.
