The XL fits like a slim Large sized polo. You definitely want to order a size up. I've posted a picture that shows this polo (on the right, which is XL) in comparison to one of my Gildan t-shirts that is a Large (which I also shrink when I first buy).The sizes may be off, but it's a great shirt to golf in. Lightweight, poly/cotton and with sleeves that are short, so they won't interfere with my swing.

I ordered medium and large. Both ran small. Definitely don't size down.The "modern fit" (aka slim fit) is unusual in this shirt. It doesn't seem to be a straight down cut along the side of the shirt. It sort of tapers in a tiny bit. In other words, there's a little more width at the top (chest) then it narrows in a tiny bit then back out a tiny bit when it reaches the bottom. This could be good or bad depending on what you want and your body type. Overall, it just felt a little too tight in the middle for me even in the large size.In terms of the shirt quality, seems quite good. Fabric is nice and as expected for this price point. The buttons were a little large to me. If the fit was a little different, I would have kept it. Nothing else wrong with it.Comparison: Amazon brand slim fit have a basic box cut, no taper. Same with Gap. I wear large in both.Photo is of me in the large. You can see the taper in one of the pictures. It's not obvious all the time as you can see from the other picture.

I've just been learning more about polos and other mens shirt styles recently. A good polo should not have more than a couple of inches of cloth on either side of the body and should not fall to lower than than mid-crotch when untucked. This shirt fits quite well (I ordered a medium) but unfortunately it is far too long to wear untucked AND has a tail. I do not like my polos to have a tail where the rear bottom is longer than the front bottom. It's a shame so many manufacturers do not design polos for wearing untucked or provide the length measurements for a better online shopping experience.Also, you should know that this is a pique cotton style with a textured weave. For a pique fabric is fairly soft. If you are looking for smooth and very soft polo you should look for pima cotton which this is not.If you are looking for a basic polo that fits well and you either will always wear it tucked in, or simply do not mind a long polo with a tail, then this polo is an excellent value for the money. If you're looking for something you can wear casually and untucked I don't think this one quite lives up to its billing.

I bought this polo for work. It is a great value. I have a smaller frame, and after reading reviews I was expecting it to fit snugly. I usually wear small to medium sized shirts, so I ordered this one in a small. It fits me nicely. I am about 5'7", 145 lbs, and the shirt fits without being too tight. It is not baggy at all. If I put on a about 15 pounds around my waist, it might look unappealing, but I do not intend to gain weight anytime soon. The fabric is soft, and does not bother my skin at all. After a couple washes, the shirt still looks bright and has retained it's elasticity. I will probably order more of these shirts for work, and maybe just to wear casually, as they are a great value and comfortable!

Very nice quality polo stye shirt!!!Seemingly well made, medium duty shirt, has been washed once and very little shrinkage. I would suggest ordering one size larger. This shirt is a modern almost slim fitting type, sleeves are shorter than normal giving it a tailored look. I would estimate the shirts come a 1/2 size smaller than standard fitting polo shirts, so if you're a fuller small size, I would suggest ordering a medium.Can recommend this shirt for style and fit, color is true.

This is a comfortable shirt that has held up through a few wearings (I'm not a heavy polo wearer) and still looks good. I would call this a "casual" polo, as opposed to more refined "dress" polos from name brand manufacturers. Since I bought it to wear as the coach of my daughter's soccer team (their team color is purple), I like the more breathable cotton construction of the "causal" style.I would warn those unsure of sizing that it runs a little tight. I'm a small guy (5'6"), bought a medium, and it's form fitting. I can't imagine who would wear a men's small if a medium is tight on someone of my frame.In the end, it's a shirt. Not a great one, but a good one, about what you'd expect for the price. The fourth star is for the combination of value and comfort. For comfort, I'd give it thee stars, for value I'd give it five - so four stars.
