Little difficult to figure out the puzzle, but..
After figuring out which blade goes where, this is a perfect solution to keeping those expensive blades safe during storage. My girlfriend and I both have the food processor and we both needed something to put those blades in a place that could be safe for the blades not be getting banged up and for others not to get cut while reaching up in the cupboards for something else. When the container arrived, I couldn't wait to put the blades inside for safe keeping. The two easy blades were labeled and fit like a glove; however, the other 3 cutting blades were a little bit confusing as to where they were to be fitted inside the molded form. After a few minutes of best guessing, it worked out to fit like a glove. You'll think the slots for the mold would fit the blades nice and tight, but it is better to keep this a little lose because of taking the blades out and putting back in would have a dulling effect if rubbing the blades on the edges of the plastic mold too much. So after a figuring out where each blade fitted, this is a good solution in keeping these blades safe and organized. I bought two of these, one for my girlfriend and one for myself. We are both happy with this organizer. Besides, it has a lock on the case so that kids or if it got knocked off the shelf by accident the lid will not fly open causing the blades to fly out to cut or hurt someone. Product design: 9/10 __Molded for fitting the items safely and specifically for each blade) Product material: 10/10 __Hard durable plastic - not thin) Product color: 10/10 __White base / clear lid)

Convenience in a small package
I at first didn't quite realize why the giant price difference between the Cuisinart 12 & 14 cup processors were. Now I'm realizing that it comes down to the additional bowl and a place to put all your accessories. This thing doesn't feel cheap thankfully. It perfectly fits all of the accessories for the Cuisinart 12-cup Elite food processor (the 3 blades, the 2 rotary discs and extension rod). Since I got the food processor a few months ago, the blades were sitting up and out of the way, but it was always a scary experience to leave the blades exposed for fingers to be chomped by. This offers convenient storage for them all. I didn't feel that the locking mechanism felt cheap like some others have. Feels pretty solid to me, but I wouldn't want to roll it down stairs or anything extreme. Thankfully the lock also holds the disc drawer in place. I think this is pretty much a required product if you've decided to purchase the 12-cup model.

Everything fits.
The storage case is very decent. All the blades etc. fit into it perfect. My main criticism is this: I paid $299 plus tax for this Cuisinart machine. The machine is great, worth the price. However, I believe the company shld include the storage case with the machine. I got the machine then I had to leave all the blades, etc laying on my kitchen table while waiting for the case to arrive, and I had to pay an additional $40 for the case as I waited for it to arrive. To me, this is not a good decision on this company to treat customers like this.

Itโs really large
I like being able to store my blades and discs in this container and they all fit well in it but the box is huge and it only accommodates the blades and discs that can with my 12 cup Cuisinart food processor. Iโve since purchased a French fry disc and it doesnโt fit in this storage box.

This item DOES work for the new FP-12N Elite machines
People have asked if this item works for the new N series machines. After confirming with Cuisinart customer service I ordered it and all of my pieces do indeed fit in the case. It took a couple minutes to figure out the blade storage but the shredding blade goes in the drawer first by tilting it down and sliding it under the lip in the back of the drawer then the slicing blade fits perfectly on top of it. It is a sizeable case but, then, so are all the items that would be floating around in the cupboard loose without it. A perfect way to keep them all together and organized.

Terrific Storage Case for Very Sharp Blades
Finally, a place to store and protect all the blades and loose parts associated with Cuisinart Elite Collection 2.0 12-Cup Food Processor (model FP-12DCN). Everything fits just perfectly, the case itself is sturdy, and the locking mechanism is a much appreciated safety feature. I'd recommend this as a "must have" accessory to ensure the longevity of your food processor and all of its bits and pieces. It's also a great way to store very sharp blades away from curious young children.

Exactly what I was looking for.
Great, safe way to store all my food processor accessories. I was using a large Tupperware prior to purchasing this; having a more effective storage solution makes me more willing to actually use the processor and parts.

Should come with the food processor
I bought this along with a Cuisinart FP-12DC Elite Collection 12-Cup Food Processor. First off...it's bigger that any of the pictures or videos might lead you to believe. I know they give you the dimensions, but I was struck by its size when I took it out of the box. That being said, its precisely the size it needs to be to accomodate all the accessories the the food processor comes with. These accessories include two steel chopping/mixing blades, a slicing disc, a shredding disc, and a dough blade. With the exception of the dough blade, everything is razor sharp. Don't even think of buying this processor without some kind of storage solution. The box stores all these items in the minimal amout of space required. It is attractive, highly utilitarian, and I like the fact that it locks...very good safety feature. I would recommend this unit to anyone.

Great add-on
Great product, perfect fit for the standard discs that come with Elite 12 cup. The one and only small area for improvement would be the legs are very slippery on a granite counter-top; rubber or silicone bottoms might help. Other than that, very handy storage solution for the components Iโd probably otherwise end up losing.

Worth every penny.
I really am glad I just bought this blade holder. I held off for years purchasing this blade holder (thought it was too expensive) and kept the blades in a Rubbermaid container. I should have bought the blade holder years ago. Any way I recommend purchasing one.
