Quality
haven't test with metal detector but as far as materials of the tape - very clear print and bright colors. I cannot rip apart with my hands so I'm going to say the quality is there

Sturdy and easily used
This tape has exactly one purpose - to put into a dug trench before you fill it in, so you can find it again with a metal detector. For this to work, the tab has to be metal (obviously), and sturdy enough to not biodegrade underground. I haven't needed to dig it up, and it hasn't been down there long yet, but this is definitely metal tape that held together perfectly over hundreds of feet. It sat nicely in the trench and isn't sticky. I'm confident it will be there detectable forever, which will come in handy when something breaks and I have to find the trench to dig it up. Money well spent to save future-me a lot of time under stress.

Excellent for price
This is an excellent option is more cheaper than lowes or Home Depot and is great quality i recommended for all construction work, we use in a underground pipe work.
