I've tried untold face masks during the pandemic. They are either too big and gappy, have uncomfortable straps around the ears, or they are baggy round the chin, and they make my glasses steam up. But now I've finally found these masks that are washable, (better for the environment than disposable masks), very comfortable, snug and made from quality multi layered cotton, which is reassuring. Adjustable ear straps made from SOFT elastic, contoured chin section and a mouldable metal strip for the nose bridge. Perfect, and worth every penny.

Reusable masks vary quite a lot in quality, and I've tried a few different types, but these are my current favourite. Clearly, some thought has been put into these masks. They are well made, the outer layer is good quality, and the white face side lining has a pouch for one of the standard filters that are available, but I have personally never used these, so I'm not sure how easy they are to fit. as the opening is on one side only. A couple of features that I do like about these masks is the stiffener around the nose bridge area, which can be pressed to fit better. And the little toggle on each of the ear loops that allow them to be tightened up for a snugger fit if needed. They can be pulled off if required, or if you do it by accident, they can be tricky to fit back on (I used a cocktail stick when this happened to me). These masks wash well in a machine at the manufacturers recommended thirty degrees.

Brilliant fit, very comfortable

Really liked the thickness and quality of the masks. They feel like 100% cotton although there is no label to confirm. The metal band at the top can be pinched to get a nice, snug fit around the nose. They are well made and very comfortable, also being cotton they didn’t cause any rashes which I have experienced with other masks. The masks have been washed several times and still look like new and fit just as well.

Please don't misunderstand this review. The masks are a nice quality and generally quite comfortable with a small pocket inside to add a filter if desired. They fit my average size male face rather well with good room for adjustment to a larger or smaller face. But what I wasn't quite expecting was how much of the face they cover. They really do wrap around your nose, your cheeks and your chin meaning that when wearing the mask, it rather looks like it swamps the face. That said, it probably does quite a good job from a "containing your germs" perspective so that's a double-edge sword.
