Not exactly
This is a cool toy, meant only for the small handed. The BAD:The Velcro strap and plastic rings are a pain in the ... They're a pain. There is a small piece of Velcro that makes no sense, and aids in the grief incurred while trying to put the unit on my hand and tighten. The primary plastic piece is a loop instead of a slot, which crumples the velcro. The strap itself isn't quite long enough to go through the second plastic piece (which is a slot). This portion of the unit was designed by crack monkeys ... (It was so bad, I returned the first one thinking it was made wrong!!!!)The Good:Once you get it on your hand, this is a really cool unit. it seems really loose, but take it under water, and it holds its position with no issue. the swivel is excellent, and the forward back rotation is great. I use this diving, I'm not sure it would be stable in air ... haven't tried.Summary: Fire the Crack monkeys, and get someone to put some thought and testing into the velcro strap, and this is a great mount for GoPros.

Worked well but did not last
Worked well but did not last.Took this zip lining and was quite pleased. the mounting point swivels freely and can also be locked in to any position by pressing on the locking lever. However this same mounting point broke in half the next day with he camera mounted during a scuba trip (thankfully on the boat). causing the camera to just fall off the mount entirely. This was the second use in two days, had this happened in the water there was a good chance I would have lost the camera. Nice Idea but the quality on the plastic pieces needs some work.

Does what it says, but it's made for smaller hands
Mine arrived on Easter day, with family all around. So, I didn't spend much time with it right off the bat. Once I had time to actually work with it, it seemed much more difficult to put on than I would have expected. As I played with it some more, I realized that the issue was that it was just small for my hands. The features seem pretty well thought out to me. The mount is solid, with a decent and easy to use lock to keep it from rotating. For people with smaller hands, there are patches of velcro that are well placed to help with putting it on (which can be a little tricky since you only have one hand to do it with. The stitching on mine was not perfect, with a couple of threads hanging loose, but it still seems plenty strong enough to accomplish the goal of holding the camera.

First of all, I have average sized hands and this thing was huge. Luckily I was going to wear it with 3mm thick neoprene gloves for scuba diving because it would have been way too loose for any other activist, but then during my dive the whole top part with the camera attached SNAPPED OFF UNDER WATER! Luckily, because I was diving I was able to grab my camera before it was forever claimed by the ocean, but beware! It is a cheap piece of junk. Don't risk losing your camera.

Get what u pay for
$8.00 product . What do you expect? The strap is a pain to get in place with unnecessary velcro in a place that does absolutely nothing . I haven't used it scuba diving yet. They don't give u enough strap for a adult size American male hand without squeezing. I will be testing it out with a lanyard also attached to cameras due to reading other reviews of mount breaking .
