Musiclily 8 Hole Tele Pickguard Scratch Plate Pick Guards for American/Mexican Made Fender Standard Telecaster Modern Style Electric Guitar, 4ply Parchment Pearl

First let me say the color of purple on this pickgaurd is awesome. I really like this pickgaurd, shipping was fast, and it looked so good against my Telecaster's glossy black body. Unfortunately the screw holes on the pickgaurd didn't line up with the screw holes in the body of my Telecaster, and I don't want to drill new ones. I don't know it the holes wouldn't line up with all USA made Telecasters or if mine was just the lucky one..

I ordered this item knowing it was not made to fit the low-cost INDIO Retro Classic I have. I studied specs of guitar and pick guard, and made an educated guess that fitting it should be possible.Item arrived the next day, and was a very nice color contrast for the Blue Tele-style guitar I have. Removing the original guard and laying them on top of each other I could see minor, careful fitting would be required, and the redrilling 6 of the 8 screw holes also needed.Marking the two areas which would need sanding/filing to fit. Went to work on work bench and in about 30 minutes had a perfect fit. I mounted it to the guitar with the two holes which were correctly fitted. Then center punched the holes which were not aligned. Drilled carefully with a 1/8" bit, screwed in all screws, and WOW did it look very nice!Restrung guitar with De Addario NYXL 10-48's. Checked setup (all perfect), plugged into my tube amp, and was BLOWN AWAY! If you have not tried these strings yet, GET SOME, they are amazing!Overall, the pickguard looks beautiful on this $86.00 guitar, and with the guard and strings, I have a guitar I would play easily on stage, at a total cost of about $110.00!

Good fit for my Squier Affinity telecaster and looked good, Kinda slow shipping

I picked this up for my Fender Squire Stratocaster because I was looking for an easy quick customization to make.The build quality seems pretty good and you can't beat the price. Screws lined up almost perfectly, however there are a few spots where the edges don't like up perfectly on the guitar. It's not that noticable unless you're looking for it though and it's to be expected when the product is less than $10

I bought the 3-ply black pickguard for a 1994 Fender Squire Series MIM (Mexican) Telecaster. All the holes lined up but it overlaps the top of the control plate so it doesn’t lie flat against the body. The cutout is a bit too shallow. The quality is good, it’s just not a perfect fit. I’ll have to keep looking for one that works.

Perfect!Two things for idiots ,😁loosen the two screws a little on the control plate, this fit my affinity perfect after you wiggle it a little with the control plate screws. They can move a fraction same as this cover. If you tighten the cover screws first you won’t have that “ wiggle” room to get a perfect fit.Second, mine came with double plastic to protect cover from scratching, you should be able to tell if it has two layers not the usual one, and take it off before installing otherwise it’s harder to do after it’s installed and you might have pieces of plastic around the screws. After that enjoy, this was a bargain!

Nice 4ply pickguard. The most important thing is that the screw holes matched perfectly with my American made Telecaster. Unfortunately, I still had to router/file the pickguard area around the control plate. I was careful to only remove a small portion where the pickguard meets the control plate but it ruffled up the top plastic coat(s) of the pickguard. That area of the pickguard still doesn't look 100% but not noticeable until you look closely. If plate was a perfect fit with no mods required, I would have gave it 5 stars. Still a much better price than a factory Fender pickguard.

The media could not be loaded.  Great pickguard, very well cut and no sharp spots or weirdness. A few screws went in slightly crooked but I'm not faulting the pickguard for that, morely the low paid (pay them more! They're humans too!) factory worker installation of the original pickguard. Looks amazing and not just a print of pearloid, it shines and sparkles nicely. Great job musiclily.

Very affordable, decent quality, great choice of colors - what else is required for any guitar project. Fits Squier Affinity 2014 (even though I assume all squiers of the same model might differ a bit). A couple of screw holes might not fit 100% but one millimetre is honestly acceptable. Even if you need to re-drill a hole - put a tooth stick and some drop of a wood glue in a old one and drill a new, it will work even if it is very close.

I only had to drill 2 holes or something and cut away a tiny bit at the control plate with a Stanley knife.Quality is very good and mine came with 2 screen protectors so without any scratches.

Parchment white pearloid pickguard for Telecaster. Fitted my Black on Black 2019 MIM Fender Player Telecaster perfectly. The White on black option is much to my liking. Musiclily get top marks for product quality and customer service. Always great to deal with these guys. Thank you.
