A useful product
I bought this Chromebook on Nov. 29th and it was here by Dec. 2nd. It's a good little machine with a more than ample keyboard for what I want to do with it. Mostly web surfing, watching movies and writing projects. And it was listed at a very reasonable price which was even more reasonable due to being able to be paid off in small payments.

I was sent a defect - Microphone does not work.
I’m extremely disappointed with this computer. I bought it because I’m in college and need a reliable device for my schoolwork and proctored exams. Unfortunately, I discovered long ago that the internal microphone does not work at all. I tested everything possible—permissions are enabled, the microphone is selected correctly, the volume is up, I restarted and updated the computer, and I tested the microphone on multiple sites. The recording test still shows 0 input and no audio whatsoever, even when speaking loudly. This has now affected my ability to complete college assignments and proctored exams that require a working microphone. A computer sold as fully functional should not have a completely nonworking internal microphone. Everything else works fine, but this is a major defect for a student who depends on the computer for school. I have proof and screenshots showing that the microphone produces absolutely no sound. I would like a replacement or a solution to this issue.
