String Swing3 Pack of CC01 Wall Mount Guitar Hangers

Layout your guitars on the floor to get an idea of spacing required, use a stud finder (absolutely do NOT use the dry wall anchors) and you're in business.I took one star off because my old ones had longer screws. The included screws will only enter the wall stud less than a 1/2 inch.

I was a little bit apprehensive about these guitar hangers. While my guitars aren't on the high end of the price scale they are valuable to me. These hangers work on electric as well as acoustic guitars with plenty of wall space between the body of the guitar and wall preventing unnecessary scratches. The space between the acoustic and wall is about 1 inch and the space between the electric guitars is about 3 inches. The hanger can rotate slightly for the odd shaped head. Since one of the mounts went into a wall stud the plastic anchors weren't used. On the other two guitars, I used the included wall anchors. While installing you will hear a plastic popping sound that sounds like the anchor broke. It is actually the anchor splitting and spreading since the back is slightly fused together. One of the previous reviews mentioned this as an issue, not sure if this was what they had observed. I actually like the anchor style for it's ease of installation. Admittedly, If I was hanging a guitar worth thousands, I would have probably used metal "mollies" instead. I really like these hangers, they free up floor space and keep those unwanted fingers off.

Looks good and now my instruments are organized. ❤️ My dad also brings his guitar over everytime he visits so now he has a spot for his guitar. 💙

Easy to install and feel very solid holding a couple of pretty precious guitars and one not so precious bass. The guitars are mounted into the studs and those aren't going anywhere. For the bass, I had to use the drywall anchors since it's centered but off stud due to the duct above. I've used these types of anchors before and for this application with an inexpensive and lightweight instrument, they are fine. Would I put the '82 USA BC Rich or Taylor jumbo maple on those drywall anchors, no way, but that's not a product issue, just common sense.

6 years later and still holding strong. I purchased a 3 pack of these over 6 years ago for my electric guitar, bass and acoustic guitar, they are of phenomenal quality, allow me to showcase my guitars as art pieces and free up floor space.I am purchasing more of these as I have ventured into the world of building my own guitars, will update when I have more to show. Buy this product, you will not regret it.
