Should the plastic loops that the straps go through be on the inner or outer part of the arm? I have no idea which way I'm supposed to wear this.

I feel pretty sure the brace will work as intended with the loops on either inner or outer side, but I think it will be more comfortable if you wear it with the plastic loops inside and straps going out and back (on the outer part of your arm.) That way they won't get caught on your clothes when you move your arm.

I took out one of the metal supports, which is a nice option. The quality is ok. I am sure there are higher quality products out there. For now, this works for me.
