I had these for a long time. I finally opened one bci was hungry and didn't want to spend money. So, technically I declared it a financial emergency for myself. Bc of unemployment rn. I mainly bought these for weather. Bc when ur in survival mode u just need to eat. Period. I bought these awhile back and put them in my emergency kitchen section. Didn't really think much about them until today on Friday Oct 18th. They are nicely packaged. They also have individual wrapping for sharing if need. I am not gonna share my food, nope. For others... They are a decent size. I don't taste dryness at all. Very crumbly surprisingly and easy to eat. Not rock hard like i was expecting. Bc when they 1st came they were heavy and u could probably hurt someone. Dont do that. The one downside is I wish it had a little bit more lemon. I like the quality and I am not necessarily gonna care about calories. Bc when ur hungry u dont.

Ordered two packs, both arrived with broken package, not air tight anymore. Already returned. Will not recommend unless you wanna try you luck.

I received the Emergency Food Packages and they were just what I wanted. One of the packages was vacuum sealed and the other the seal was broken and I was forced to return both. I am looking forward to the next shipment so that I can add it to my emergency Kit. If the packages are not vacuum sealed they won't last for the specified 5 years. I was a little disappointed but still need more.

The color and the taste is misleading. It taste more like a stale sugar cookie than lemon and it's the color of a sugar cookie as well, not yellow. It is very crumbly yet hard enough to knock somebody out with. For the price, taste and amount you get, I personally would not recommend. HOWEVER I will keep an unopened pack in my gear because it still technically does it's job, and cause I'm not going to just throw it away. If youre in a survival situation, you can't always argue with what the rations taste like.

These bars are great to have and fit easily into a daypack for hiking and camping. If you find yourself up against a zombie they’re hard enough that you can wack the zombie over the head with them while trying to make your getaway.
