Will these fit a large man with bigger legs?

They're pretty tight, I'm not sure if they will fit a large man.. I'm 5 11, medium frame body. I'm not over weight and my legs aren't big. This belt fits just below the knee. I hope this helps.

How are the straps adjusted to hold up socks that are different heights?

The adjustable band goes around the calf and it is elastic. I believe these are the most useful with tall socks. So if the socks are shorter they may just pull more around the calf but I have worn them with different length tall socks without any problems.

Are there 4 garters or 2 in the pack? It says pack of two but shows only one set.

It comes with one garter for each leg. So 2 individual garters. One set

The metal corrodes & breaks down my skin, do do you make these with plastic buckles?

I don't know. I've never seen a plastic clip version offered.
