I'd made dolls before, but never a bear and chose this design because of its old-fashioned charm. I have to agree with other customers with the pattern being a little tricky, particularly the top of the feet, which I had to sew on by undoing the inside legs seams. It took the whole day, but I eventually managed to finish a lovely bear in Disney fabric and look forward to making more with different materials in much less time! If you're a beginner, I'd advise that you watch Youtube videos on bear making, specifically one using a similar pattern to this and make a practice bear from scraps to learn from any frustrating mistakes. I stuck the pattern onto some craft card to make it more durable, especially as I intend to make a few.
