My favorite thing about these shorts is the fabric. They are made of a really nice, soft cotton micro-terry. The inside and outside of the fabric are both very soft.Size - Small: I'm 5'7" / 160lb / 30-inch waste. I'm not skinny but definitely not chubby (I work out). I ordered these in Small and they fit perfectly. They're not super tight, either.My only complaint is the lack of consistency with the construction of the pockets. I have an older pair of Amy Coullee shorts and the pockets are really badly designed. These newer ones have redesigned pockets - but they were only perfect (laying flat while walking) on 1 of the 3 pairs I have. The others bunch up *a little* on the sides. It's barely noticeable unless you're paying attention.For the price - these are the best shorts I've found. They're VERY comfortable and they fit perfectly. I'd honestly pay more for them if the pockets were guaranteed to be perfect and the stitching was a little less messy (only a few stray threads - which is fine).

I bought these to replace a pair just like them, that I wore til there were holes on the back seam. If you don't like nylon basketball short, or skin tight spandex shorts to the gym, try out some of these.I bought these a size bigger than normal. First, cotton will shrink. Second I've got big thighs, and didn't want to fill constricted.I did legs today, and had no problem with my shorts getting in the way. I'm happy with them.

I love these shorts. The material actually gets softer after every wash. The only thing I wish they would do with these if they are ever to make more is to just slim them down a bit. Nothing over the top, I don’t like the skinny fit stuff or slim in shorts but these have way too much fabric on them and flare out a bit too much. I’m 5’8”, 175 pounds and don’t have very skinny legs. The fact that a size small still flares out says that there’s just too much fabric. I do like me classic fit stuff over the slim but the cuts on these are just way too 90s(bulky). They have to be slimmed down a notch. Overall though I have not found better cotton shorts that you can lounge in and goto the gym in. Good product.

Purchased another color for my husband. He liked them so much her requested and additional pair or two. He said they are soft super, comfortable for relaxing, great guy coverage, big pockets which he LOVES. He's 6'3 slim to medium build. if that helps any looking to purchase.He is Very Happy with all 3 pair.

These are a great fit. Accurate sizing and comfortable. I can't stand the ridiculous hipster shorts everyone sells that are basically pants with a few inches cut off. This short comes to just above the knee, may be a little higher if you have long legs.

My husband loves these shorts, they have 3 pockets and are very comfortable and he looks good in them. He is very picky, so for him to want me to order him 3 more shorts that says it all. I highly recommend these shorts. The fit is true to size too.

Comfortable and fits well. However, while it has a flap for a zipper... it's sewn shut without one? While not a deal breaker for me, it would have been nice to know in advance. So I deducted 1 start for a glaring omission in the description.

These well-made shorts are perfect! Soft, jersey-like material, well-sewed and tailored, are comfortable, feel great and of high quality. They're also handy with three pockets: two side pockets and a wallet pocket. The color is a perfect shade and the tie is easy to fasten. All in all, the shorts are exactly as advertised. I'd buy them again in the future.
