These are the best. The beef stick is tender and the cheddar cheese is their standard of cheese. It is always great. Ordering here on Amazon. I can get them for a fair price..

Taste pretty good. You get the jerky and the cheese together with one bite. A perfect snack with beer or wine or anytime.

I at times do not get a break when I am at work and these little snacks are my new go to. They are very fresh and have a great flavor. The cheese is a nice soft cheddar and pairs nicely with the beef stick. Will be ordering again.

I've ordered these a couple times - previous batch was ok, but my last order had obvious mold on one of them that I only noticed after opening it - I already ate a few of them by that point, but couldn't bring myself to eat anymore of them. After that one, obviously moldy pack, they all looked "questionable", so I threw them out.Too bad - when they're good, they're good, but I can't trust their packaging/manufacturing process anymore as they were bad well before their Best By date. According to other reviews, this has happened before.I wish they would fix their equipment/process as their product was good.No photos because I didn't want to dig the moldy stuff out of the trash.

I like to have something to snack on in my purse along with a bottle of water. When I am out and about, it's good to keep from having an empty upset stomach when it's time to take my medication. I decided to try this. I like the beef stick. Less chewy pieces that I refuse to swallow, than some other brands. It's tender beef too. The cheese stick was not tasty. Didn't even taste like real cheese. I checked the ingredients and it's real american cheese. They probably added some preservative since it doesnt need refrigeration, which makes it tastes like that. I'm only using them for out and about purse snacks, so it's not a big deal about the cheese stick. I only took one star away because of the cheese flavor and texture. The beef stick is fine. The "Use By" date on the individual stick packages inside of the box is 04/28/2022. 18 count. EBT eligible.

I would buy these again

I needed some snacks to take along for backpacking, so I ordered some of these and a similar Slim Jim version for comparison. The Slim Jims, even though they're labeled as "original", with no indication they'd be spicy, are actually pretty hot. If I'm hiking and have a few of them as a snack, I'm worried they might actually upset my stomach.In contrast, the Old Wisconsin beef sticks have a much milder "summer sausage" flavor that is much more pleasant and easier on the tummy/taste buds while exercising. The cheese in the Old Wisconsin pack was also superior - milder and creamier than the cheese in the Slim Jim pack.These were a bit more expensive than the Slim Jims, but worth the extra cost. I'll be handing the Slim Jims out to friends who need a snack on the trail and I'll be ordering more of these Old Wisconsin sticks for myself.
