I purchased this binding glue to make my own watercolor blocks much more cheaply than the well known French paper blocks. This was my first time creating a block. While I didn't do a perfect job, the glue has worked quite well. With just a brush swipe across the edges, I saved over $25 dollars and ended up with a larger block of paper. The glue has held up against watercolor and acrylic paints with no separation. I did get some between the pieces of paper. The glue held, while part of the paper peeled off. So, the glue works better than my new skill. If you are going to try to make your own watercolor paper blocks, a small sponge brush might work better. I used a paint brush. I believe some of the individual hairs went between the pieces of paper and got the glue where I didn't want it causing the issue. I started with a small bottle about the size of a craft paint bottle, as I had no idea how much area the glue would cover. I made 2 9x12 blocks and will be able to make several more. Clean up was easy with just water.

For, literally, years I have been looking to make my own scratch pads. I like to design and print them myself with the fields and lines on them that I want. The issue was always the binding. I tried stapling. Fail. I tried spiral binding. Fail. I tried stitching. Fail. I then tried various glues I had around the house using YT vids as instruction. Fail. You really need to get a glue like this that is made for this purpose. It dries quickly. It holds my pads 20# 50 sheets 8.5 no problem. EZ to apply and you barely use any glue. And then.......the sheets tear off so smooth!!!!! I'm VERY happy with this glue.

Easy to use! I made a “money pad” for my son’s birthday with crisp, new $5 bill sand chip board cut to size! I used binder clips to keep it clamped and used several layers of glue! Great for making cute custom notepads!

I like working wet on wet with my watercolor, and I hate to have to tape my paper down. I bought a moderately priced pad of watercolor paper, and brushed this on three sides leaving about one inch unpainted on each side of one corner. The top of the pad was already glued. I weighted the pad flat and let it dry through two coats. It worked perfectly. The product went on smoothly, and cleaned up with soap and water. I now have an inexpensive watercolor block! I am very happy with this product! I have quite a bit left so I look forward to more future blocks. I do recommend this product!
