8006 Juicing Screen Replacement Part Compatible with Juicer Models 8006 8005 8004 8003 Slow Masticating Juicer #2, Not Compatible with Juicer Models J8006HDC & J8006HDS

Nice to know I can always get my replacement the next day

This juicing screen does not fit Omega Model #8004. Checked the drum to make sure the number 2 appeared before ordering (see photo). Please update vendor information.

I couldn't use the part because it didn't fit my juicer.

I was originally really glad to purchase this part at a price that was significantly cheaper than the real Omega part. My original screen met an unfortunate end when it fell into the sink disposal while it was running (my bad). The new replacement fit snugly and I was good to go again. HOWEVER, I soon noticed that I was using double the amount of carrots that I normally would to fill a 10 inch glass. This happened over and over. I quickly pulled out my other Omega screen that fit my daughter's juicer (she's home from college so luckily I have both here) and tried it in mine. Sure enough I was back to half the amount of carrots required to juice and fill my 10 oz. glass. I realized that the money I saved on a cheaper screen was quickly going to negate the savings if I now have to buy twice the amount of organic carrots to make my typical amount of juice. I sent it back so now I'm going to pay the full amount for the Omega part since it's back in stock. Bummer.

Fits well in the drum, but possibly, because there is no rubber seal on the end (as many other reviews mention) we are not getting as much juice extraction as the original equipment. Until, the mfg sells this part again however, this seems like a good alternative.

Returning because it doesn’t fit

I have not juiced with this new screen yet. I have an Omega 8006 and when I received this new one I put all the components together to make sure it fit. It fit very tight but I was able to assemble everything just fine. Once I have the opportunity to juice with it, I will let you know if there are any problems. So far so good.

The product description says it will work with the 8003 but it does not. Sure, it fits in the thing, but it doesnt properly juice the produce. I ended up with a bowl full of juice filled pulp which I had to wring out through a cheesecloth.
