Brilliant, really happy. A quick & easy way to add a dog door to your patio. I fit it in 2 minutes flat. You can also add screws and a lock for added security.

I noticed some of the reviewers said it didn't fit well and left a gap, but mine was almost perfect. We did have to get some weather stripping (the one it came with was too large), but it was a very, very small gap (like paper thin). I really like that this door does not have to be permanent. We only put in one screw to hold the top up once we got the door in place...that way it's easy to take out when the weather turns nasty. My dogs really hated the door I had in the screen for years, but they really took to this one right away...even the skittish dog! I think it feels more sturdy to them. I also don't have to replace my torn screen every year. The only downside is that now my door is not quite as wide for people and stuff to go through, but it's totally worth it, especially since we will only use this door that goes to our deck in the summer months. I really like how the door looks as well. Worth the money for us!

Easy to install and dogs love it!

I was skeptical about a sliding glass pet door, but this is one of the best improvements we've made on our home. I love that they can go in and out on their own on the long days when husband and I are both at work. It was pretty easy to install. We have 3 large dogs (variety of shepherd mixes). We have the biggest size and need larger, but they work it out. They rattle it occasionally when in a hurry, but it is holding strong so far.

My dog absolutely LOVES this. He can go outside whenever he wants and come in whenever he wants. We love it too because we don't have to constantly open the door or be summoned to open it. The installation was pretty easy but do purchase your own weather stripping. Our sliding door didn't sit airtight to the insert so we added weather stripping. And the stripping provided to block drafts on the back side of the glass door won't hold, it's utterly useless. Go out and get some foam stripping or a stronger version of what they send, that stuff will flop right off. The flap itself is well made, it has a magnet on the bottom that is drawn to a magnet at the bottom of the door unit so it snaps into place when the dog goes in or out. We have had just one instance where it didn't fully snap back in and our dog has been in and out hundreds of times. It is very very windy here and that flap does not move or let in dust from the windstorms. No problem with rain either. Just overall a good idea and pretty good execution, the weather stripping issue aside. We have a secured backyard so this allows our dog to go out to potty or explore or sunbathe while we are gone. It also does come with a plastic piece to block off the flap so the dog cannot go outside. This was helpful when we had a contractor in the yard.
