The Cable Car and the Dragon

Not sure if this was intended to be a children's book or not but it was kinda depressing.I grew up in San Francisco and also grew up celebrating Chinese New Year so I was so excited to stumble across this book for my daughter!Spoiler alert...However the book was basically about how the cable car and the dragon are under appreciated, over worked and just depressed. And there wasn't really a happy ending. It was kinda like, well it is what it is.

I grew up with my Dad reading Herb Caen's column in the SF Chronicle. I gave him 3 Herb Caen books for Christmas and he loved them all. Thank you for offering this and sending it to me in time for Christmas. Great Seller.

I sent this to my friend who moved to South Carolina 2 years ago from California. She says she loves it. I plan on getting a copy for myself as well.

Great book! Had a hard bound copy growing up and was happy to find the book still available.

My 4-year-old daughter loves this whimsical story. It is a little above her comprehension level so I wish there were illustrations on every page. It does require her patience while I read two pages of text without an illustration for her to look at.
