Nice and solid leatherette case for my Tab A. What I like most about it is the outer frame in which the tablet fits directly in and the strap that holds the case closed when not in use. I had purchased another brand before this one that was more like a sleeve for the tablet, which was not a perfect fit and when I close the case, it is really bulky because of too much unnecessary thickness and there was also no strap. I also like the outer design of the case; it gives it a slicker look.

I ordered this case based on reviews. I am pleased with the quality, but I would say that my one reason for an overall rating of four is that the directions for placing the tablet into the case and securing it were unclear to me. I knew I wasn't doing something right and so I sent an email to the seller for support. I never heard anything back. I eventually figured it out on my own and made the necessary correction. However, I came close to returning it until I figured out the problem. I will admit that my tablet doesn't fit in as evenly as I would like, but I plan on keeping it. 12/24/18. Update: This process has been a huge hassle. When I first bought the case, I had issues with the fit. As I previously mentioned, I contacted the company and didn't hear anything. When they reached out to me with the usual check-in to see if I was satisfied, it began a lengthy dialogue which resulted in me ordering a replacement. I was told that I would receive a refund and that I wouldn't have to send the first cover back. Neither of those promises was followed through on. Now I have two covers and I am returning them both. What a waste of time!! 1/7/19 - Final update. This process has been quite an odyssey! After returning the two covers and trying other styles, I decided that for all of the previous hassles, this cover was a better choice for both quality and security of my tablet. Of the three covers I tried, this final one fits the best and it doesn't block my screen like other reviews stated. I am a happy and satisfied customer. I just had to look around and try other options to truly appreciate this cover. It was worth the effort! Plus I love the pattern I ordered on this last go-round 😀

I almost gave this a 5 star rating, but it is just a hair short of that for me. It is beautifully made, looks great, holds the tablet perfectly and securely in the upright position, and feels very nice. I like the two tone look, and finish quality is very nice. The pen/stylus is a great touch, as is the slot in front to hold some paper or a cleaning cloth (which is what I have in there). I just wish it was a little tighter fit, because at the bottom the tablet screen is somewhat obscured. Mostly not a factor in using the tablet, but if I'm being very honest the tablet should up a little more, and not move up and down at all. I tried to put a wooden stick against the bottom of the tablet, but two things happened. One, the stick may move out of position, and get behind the tablet. Two, the stick then makes the bottom edge of the tablet longer, and the cover doesn't close properly. So, all that being the case, it is a great case, and many people have no issues at all, but I have to be fair and point out this one flaw. I certainly am keeping the case, and like it a lot.

Let me start to say that we have had and still have several tablets. This includes Samsung and Apple. This also mean that we have purchased several cases for the tablets. My latest tablet was a 10" Samsung Galaxy Tab A to use as a monitor for my Phantom 4 drone. Setting up to go on a trip, I was feeling rushed to purchase a cover for this tablet and of course went to Amazon to see what was available. I searched and read ratings and after a short time, I decided to purchase this ProCase case and have been very pleased (except price just went lower as usual on Amazon). The case fits very well over the tablet and continues to do so. I take the tablet in and out of the case often which is sort of abnormal for most but because I have to fit it on to my Phantom 4 remote, I cannot have a case on tablet. The case has held up and has not stretched out of shape nor has it weakened anywhere. The stitching, seams and velcro has been holding up like new and like I said, the tablet has been in and out of case alot. The smell is leather and it has nor has it had any off smell like many cases seem to have, especially when you unpack it. The finish is very nice and of course I mentioned the fit, which is also well designed and everything on tablet is accessible. This ProCase case for the Samsung Galaxy 10." Tab A is a wonderful compliment for the tablet and expect it to last for years.

Quality product!

The feel of this case is very rich - like fine leather. I like just picking it up. I chose the bright red color so my tablet won't disappear in the back seat of my car. It fit the tablet perfectly and has two features I particularly like: (1) A magnetic trigger so my tablet goes to sleep whenever the case is closed. (2) Three ribs on the inside cover yielding 3 tilt angles to chose from when using the cover as a stand in landscape mode. I kept my tablet in it's shipping box to keep it safe until this case arrived (rather quickly at that) and immediately slipped my tablet into the case. It locks into place with a hidden Velcro strip. Sure enough, later that same night my tablet fell off a chair and went SPLAT right onto a wood floor. Thanks to the case there was no damage to either the tablet or the case. So I gave it 5 stars for durability even though I have had it for only a week. So far I haven't found the extra pocket on the front side useful for holding anything - When opened it would barely fit a 5X8 card. However it does add another layer of cushioning to the front, which came in handy when my tablet slipped off a chair on the first day. The backside already has a 2nd layer of leatherette for cushioning. This case is thick, but all connections are easily accessible. The camera's are unobstructed as well. I had read this was frequently returned by customers. I had a very heavy case for years for my 2016 Tab A SMT580 and was tired of holding it up after the handle/stand broke. Someone said it was difficult to get the case to slide into the slot for it. I had no trouble with that at all. I have removed it once since putting it in the case and it was easy to take out and put it back in. I like that it turns off the tablet when I close the lid. I like the option of several angles for the tablet. Unfortunately, I tend to use it most at night when I'm laying down and balance it on pillows. That's not a product problem but if that would change your mind, I thought I'd mention it. I have had no problems using the touch screen or any of the buttons on the side of the tablet. The case itself is nice looking and solid. I suppose if you were carrying it and dropped it, it might open up on you. I have carried it around the house and it sits firm in my hands or on top of books, etc., when I do carry it. My chihuahua likes to wake me up by pawing on the case in the morning. It's not scarred. I purchased it April 12, 2024. I have been using it a lot since I received it. The Velcro closure (where the tablet is inserted) has to be pulled apart and then reapplied after the tablet is in the sleeve. It is a very tight fit for the flap and Velcro (a very good thing). I suggest making sure the tablet is inserted all the way in and to keep from pressing the Velcro until you have also made sure it is well within the sleeve so it holds the tablet most securely. Before you press it down, roll the flap well into the space between it and the case for optimal security of the tablet. I have made notations on the photos - it's taken me a while to get the photos taken and finished. I think a couple have info I forgot to type up here. I really like this case and wouldn't have taken the time to do all this if I didn't. Unfortunately, the tablet is a 2016 model and I have to leave the charger plugged in because the little tongue inside the charger got bent. Not to mention the fact that a 2016 model doesn't take well to updates. But, I use it for very specific things. IF I end up replacing the tablet, wishful thinking?, I hope I get one which fits in this case. I hope this information helps you in your decision about this case. My tablet has an adhesive glass shield on it - it's gotten pretty scarred up over the years. It's 'no reflection' on the case. I probably should replace it with the extra glass shield I have.
