Tenare 4 Pairs Universal Typewriter Ribbon, Calculator Ribbon, Red, Black

Good quality. Replaced our old ribbon in a 1920's Royal. This ribbon did the trick. Compatible with the old spools.

Unfortunately, I do not own a typewriter that accepts universal spools, but I learned how to hand wind the new ink ribbon onto the original spools for my machine. The bi-chrome ink is good, and plenty pigmented. The red color almost leans towards orange to me, but the value of these spools is what drew me to buy them.

Not as dark ink as I had hoped. Older ribbons are better inked.

Didn't work for my typewriter unfortunately or at least some manual work is required for me to really utilize it. However for the price, this is quality typewriter ribbon and was packaged well. Review is for the product itself, not my mistake for assuming it would work with my unique typewriter.

Just tried to use these to replace a ribbon and it seems like there's no ink. It fit on the spools but it doesn't type at all, not even a shadow of ink. I could even tell when I opened them that the ribbons are completely dry. I'm very disappointed but they were cheap and I guess I can try re-inking them but that is not what I was expecting when I bought them. I could just re-ink the original vintage ribbon in that case because these are also cheap quality. Zero stars if I could.

Works amazing in my sears 161-53770 typewriter. Installation was easy, ink is nice and dark. The price is really reasonable for 4 rolls of ribbon.

I was hesitant to buy these ribbons after reading the reviews. I will tell you that are very saturated to my surprise. I think for nylon ribbons they print very well. I haven't had any issues yet with them. I prefer cotton ribbons, but nylon ribbons print well. If you aren't satisfied I am sure that the seller will refund your money. I am satisfied with my purchase and they fit my Hermes Ambassdor perfectly. I took a chance and got four ribbons for a great price, I don't think you can beat that! If you need typewriter ribbons in black ink that is vibrant and saturated then I would purchase these ribbons.

This product is practical and wonderful. It arrived in record time. And according to the required specifications with great precision. They deserve thanks.

These old typewriter ribbons are not so easy to come by these days, I was happy to get a set of four at a reasonable price. They arrived quickly and they work fine.
