I accidentally got pregnant one time I was using these. This was about 6 months into me using these consistently. My hair grows rapidly but I think that’s because PCOS is a bit of a headache. My period regulate way better now and the dosage last me for almost two months because I take it every other day now. If u don’t like capsules this isn’t for you. I don’t notice any skin benefits but I don’t really care about that. Great and easy to use overall.

First off, this is a mixed review. I came across Inositol by accident and when I saw that it could help with symptoms of PCOS I decided to give it a try. I have not been diagnosed with PCOS but I do have some of the symptoms so I thought it wouldn't hurt to try. I noticed some other things along the way and I will comment on them as well. PCOS-the symptoms that I was experiencing did seem to go away. The signs of my ovulation were CRYSTAL clear for the first time EVER. Period was easier, cramps were less. Hair-I did not see any difference in hair. The women in my family tend to be hairier than we would like. That did not change AT ALL. I get this one weird hair in a place I won't mention and that still happened. Mood-I was going through depression for a few months. There are serious health problems with my parents and it is hard day in and day out to deal with their care and the worry about them. I also have a lot on my plate. Finishing my doctorate, husband, two kids under two and a sick parent AND very sick family members as well as a family death. You can understand why I was going through some serious depression. I noticed a change in my mood within two hours of taking it (along with folic acid). Within 24 hours I felt like my life had changed for the better. I was positive and saw a future of happiness. If I missed a dose (happened only twice in two weeks) I would get a horrible headache within two hours of the missed dose. It reminded me to go back and take it. HOWEVER, it seemed that after the two weeks the help that this provided just went away. I no longer saw any difference if I took it or not. It seemed that my body reached a level and it no longer helped. Very upset about that. I thought I found a miracle pill. Energy-for the first few days I had more energy than I had in years. It was wonderful. I cleaned my house, my parents house, did every errand I could think of, and organized our lives. It stopped doing this for me after four days. I no longer noticed a difference at all in my energy level. So to sum it up. It helped in unexpected ways that I loved but it wore off for me after two weeks. I even tried a different dose and that didn't help (I was taking it three times a day).

I’ve had a good experience with this inositol supplement so far. The capsules are easy to swallow and the bottle lasts a long time. It helps me with my pcos

So I researched hirsutism and pcos and I found this product. It was cheap and supposedly worked for my issue so I decided to try. I took at least one pill a day for about 5 days only, after which I just forgot, I'm terrible at remembering to take pills. On the date of this I hadn't taken this product for 2 weeks and haven't shaved the facial hair, which is the hirsutism issue I have, in 1 week. Just from that short period of time it's glaringly obvious that the growth of the hair has slowed tremendously. I was at a rate where I would need to shave pretty much daily if not every two days. It's been a week and the hair is barely noticeable. Suffice it to say I'm going to start taking this every day now, consistently until the bottle is finished. This has been a huge problem for me since I turned 21 each year getting progressively worse. I'm glad I found something that helps. If I find better results after finishing the bottle I will be sure to note them here. I just hope I can help someone who might be having the same problem who's sick of shaving or waxing or being embarrassed when forgetting to manage the unwanted hair. Now I just need to find something that will fix the darkened skin from the constant shaving. UPDATE 3/27/2014 Going to be ordering another bottle. I stopped taking it for a while and then started taking it again pretty consistently for a few weeks. After that, that dark shade that you see in the mustache area even after you shave, disappeared. This amazed me because I thought it was darkened skin from shaving so much. This happened while I was taking 2-3 pills a day for around 3 weeks. If you keep it up you will definitely notice a difference. Unfortunately, it seems like this is not a cure but a treatment. So you will have to continue taking it consistently to continue to see the results. My only non professional suggestion in terms a of cure is to consult a doctor and explore some options if you want a permanent fix for the hirsutism. I will continue with the pills.

I have PCOS and trying to conceive for a while now. I ovulate every month and I have a period every month (because of healthy living). The only thing is that my periods are heavy and I am not getting pregnant. I tried these pills for 1,5 month and it not only delayed my ovulation, it also delayed my period with 7 days. Not only this. I got a very long and very heavy period. Never in my life did I experience this much pain. I cried. It also gave me headaches and pimples. No never again!! Made my situation worse.

Took this with berberine supplement for my PCOS, this helped a lot with maintaining my weight loss and somehow helped with my brittle nails as well
