My kindergartener has been struggling with her writing for a couple of years now. She recognizes the letters and can read fairly well, but her writing is atrocious and difficult to read. I noticed her grip was way off and most of the grips allow her to misuse them. This is the only one I've found that forces all her fingers to be in the correct position. Her writing is SOO much better when she uses this and it actually legible!

I used these for some grade one students. There were a few who were fist writing. This really helped one of the students to learn how to grip the pencil. One student didn't need to use it after a few days.The students used regular pencils I just rolled a few layers of masking tape around the pencil and they fit fine.I'm very happy they are perfect for fist writers or for kids who don't know how to hold their middle, index and pinky finger while writing.

My students complained that it hurts their fingers and it is hard to find a pencil that will stay put.

One of my students was holding a pencil in a fish grip. After adding one of these to his pencil, he naturally picked it up correctly. He looks for them every day. He asks for them to be put on his whiteboard markers, and even his crayons . Worth every penny.

I bought these for my nephew to help with his hand writing. These work as intended. It really does force the correct grip on the pencil and can help towards correcting hand writing. Nothing makes perfect like practice, but practicing with this tool can really speed up the process. More to come as it's used more. So far, I recommend.
