They last almost exactly 6 months. Key is to open and vacuum the dust and hair off the outer foam from time to time to extend the efficiency of the filter. We live in the city close to a main road, so this purifier is working non-stop. Would be nice if the prices on these filters came down a bit, but it's generally reasonable for the quality and time it lasts.
