It's OK dose the job, I like my digital one better more settings and a delay timer. This one has to settings, not bad and omg to much with no delay start up. But for the price you'll be happy

Easy to use, used in basement and car. Only need it on for short time.

After reading hundreds of reviews on several different models and comparing prices, I chose the Alpine machine. My story: I purchased a house and the previous owners had cats and smoked in the house. We did smell any remnants of cats, but the smoke was cough cough for us. Understand that my family is allergic to cigarette smoke and my son allergic to cats. We had the carpets professionally cleaned not once, but twice and painted the house. It helped a great deal, but I could still really smell the cigarette smell. At this point I was trying not to have to replace the carpet in the house because it was really good quality carpet. My carpet guy suggested that I rent an ozone machine because that’s what they use in the fire restoration jobs he goes on. I couldn’t really find one available to rent and for the difference in the rental cost, I figured I could just purchase my own. Once I decided on the Alpine machine I was quick to place my order. For the looks, price, reviews, and functionality I figured it was a good choice and it was! I used it for 2 hours the first time (mainly because I was nervous and didn’t want to blow up my new house) on the 5,000 setting, 90 minutes the second time on the same day (since it needed a little more treatment) on the 10,000 setting, and 90 minutes one more time the next day at the 10,000 setting. Let me tell ya this sucker works!! There is a BIG difference between the 5k and the 10k setting though. You have to look closely to see which side the red circle flip button goes to for the setting. I will say that the machine itself does leave an industrial type odor which I had read in other reviews, but it’s much better than the smoke smell! Totally doable! After each day, I did open all the windows to reoxygenate my home with fresh air and clear that industrial smell, but WOW it really works. I don’t smell smoke anymore and it’s been 3weeks since we’ve been in the place. I definitely recommend it for this type of usage and I plan to use it again in the spring in my garage and at my parents in the basement. In comparison to the other machines I think the value of this one is worth it. If it sold for $5-$10 less ($79.99 - $84.99) it would own the market. If your are on the fence about the product, I say get it! Hope this review helps because all of the others really helped me.Additional feedback is that it is well-packaged and not obnoxious in size.

There were no instructions in the box. Luckily it's pretty straightforward. Select your output level, set the timer, plug it up and forget it.So far I have used the machine a few times with great results. Once as a test run in a overflow storage closet. I accidentally left the machine running overnight due to my own oversight. Note that 60 minutes is directly across from hold on the dial. Make sure you double check which one the selection dial is pointed at before using the set and forget methodology. The machine worked beaufully though there was a film left on the floor due to over treatment.The real test was to come in vehicles. I've used it to remove odor from a food service vehicle that smelled like the juice from a dirty trash can and cigarette/marijuana smoke from a stolen recovery van. Both with great results! My process was simple. Place the unit as high in the vehicle as possible. Lean the floor mats upright to expose the carpet underneath. Remove all personal items from the vehicle. Roll up the windows. Crank the vehicle and turn the heat on circulate. Turn the unit on 60 minutes and close the door. Upon completion of treatment we rolled down the windows to allow the vehicle to air out for 24 hours. Like magic the foul smells are gone and the vans smell like a fresh swimming pool.

Was more than skeptical about these working at 1/4 or less of the cost of some, but works perfectly so far.Have used in the room several times already and once on the entire 2nd floor and virtually eliminated the smell of several cigars a day and the lite odor of a 112-year-old home smell.
