I normally don’t leave reviews but I’m obsessed with this product. A friend had recommended this steamer to me because I was complaining about how steaming always took so much longer than ironing, but it turns out that was just because I’d been using a cheap $25 steamer. My husband and I have since used this religiously for over two years and we really don’t take very good care of it and yet it’s still so quick and powerful and sturdy. The chrome finish is still nice and shiny, without the chalky build-up or anything in the steam vents that you typically see on other steamers or irons after so much use. It’s super easy to use, gets wrinkles out in an instant and its size makes it quite portable, so naturally we bring it everywhere we go. Some reviews on here mention water squirting out after several uses but we’ve never had that issue. Just make sure you fully plug in the rubber stopper after refilling the basin and give it a few good shakes to make sure it’s really secured before you snap the basin into place. It also seems to stop releasing steam if you hold it in a downward position instead of upright but I suspect that may be a safeguard designed to avoid burn risks. It also heats up the water really fast!! The downside of it being so portable is that the basin isn’t very big, meaning I’ll have to refill it several times if I’m steaming a large set of items (such as all our sneakers/leather boots/bags), but i just keep a large kettle with a narrow spout next to me for the process and the water heats up within 10-30 seconds after every refill.

The Conair 2-in-1 Handheld Steamer and Iron works well. It is a very good product. It is easy to use and I like how portable it is. It is well made. You have to use distilled water in it.

Bought it after watching some reviews on TikTok and got it delivered same day. I was super excited to test it out on the wrinkled curtains I just hung up. I go to test it out and when I hit the steam button, it sounded like it kept heating up over and over and NO STEAM came out. I read through the instructions and it says it will begin to steam once it senses it’s not on a flat surface. Held it at an angle for over two minutes and nothing. What a disappointment. EDIT: I sent it back and had it replaced. It must have been the one I had, but it works great! Happy with the how easy it is to use.

This is god send seriously, I hate ironing and I never tried any steam machines before. Was very skeptical on how effective it would be, there were many brands to try from but I went for a name brand that I know than trying some weird names. It is perfect, I don’t think I will ever have to iron anymore. It takes seconds to start working i just steam my clothes and within seconds ur ready to go. I didn’t honestly use any of the other attachments but it does the job for me. Update: a while into using this and it started spraying water all over the clothes, its like no steam comes out anymore just really hot water. Such a disappointment I really liked it when it worked, back to my old iron I guess!!! Update: after some research turns out it just needed cleaning, all it needed was add some vinegar and water to it and turn it on, let it work till all the water is steamed and voilà its back to functioning normal. Obviously this was a step needed every now and then, read about it before but for some reason couldn’t think that spitting out water means it needs cleaning. Still rocks! I am back in love!

I THOUGHT I had found a solid product when I bought this steamer, but I was sorely mistaken! It functioned well initially, quickly heats up, and steams clothes easily. I used it to steam, maybe 10 pieces of clothing since I bought it in Jan. 2024. Now, four months out of warranty, it's completely useless as it just SPITS hot water out everywhere, down the handle, EVERYWHERE! (See attached video. Excuse the sound of Bluey playing in the background but you'll have no problem seeing and hearing the issue.) Mind you, I took excellent care of it, only using distilled water, emptying it and drying it when done, carefully packaging it back into the box when done. But suddenly, it just spits out water after using it about 10 times! Reading other's one-star reviews (now), many others have had this experience. Totally a waste of $60+ and more useless crap to fill up a landfill, because they don't make stuff built to last much longer than the 1-year warranty these days. Avoid this hassle and disappointment and frustration, save your money, and find another steamer to purchase because this one is a lemon.

Oh my god! I’ve been in the market for a good handheld steamer and this one is it!!! (Backstory) My roommate a couple of years ago had a cheap, as she described it, $20 steamer that the whole house used freely and it worked great, we didn’t have an iron or ironing board but her steamer did the trick. Now I’m on my own and need a steamer, hers was a gift (although the giver told her the price), so she didn’t know where to get hers from. Sooo I bought a cheap $20 steamer off of Amazon thinking it would be just as magical as hers. WRONG! It didn’t get out any wrinkles so I returned it and kept looking. I came under the impression that maybe steamers weren’t supposed to get out wrinkles, then saw online that they can replace an iron! So I came across this one and loved the idea of a 2-in-1 iron steamer. This thing works wonders!! Oh my god, I had a super wrinkly dress that I decided to test this out on and I will admit, the iron function wasn’t very good but with the steam I was in shock! I kept saying “wow”, “wow”, “wow”!!! Because of how easily the wrinkles came out of my dress! And I wasn’t even steaming the right way! I had literally just laid my dress down on my bed and got to town. I resell clothing so I want my pieces to be in the best shape for the customers. This thing works and heats up faster than all the ones I’ve seen on the market, I really recommend this, if you’re thinking about getting it, do it!!! Edit: I’ve seen a lot of reviews about water leakage, thankfully I have used this quite a few times now and I have had no problem with leaking, so to each their own!

Most of the negative reviews were for spitting water. I let it heat up before activating the steam. It performs flawlessly. A tip... I steam the inside of the garment with the steam holes facing toward me so the weight of the fabric rests on the steamer head. Update: Like many, my steamer quit. I could hear the internal water pump knocking. My experience is that means the water pump was cavitating, or had run dry. I unplugged the machine. I removed the water tank and used a medicine syringe to squirt some distilled in the water intake hole of the machine. I put the water tank back on and violá!!! My steamer is back in business.

Good steamer, a bit heavy for vertical steaming use. BROKE after 10 months - suddenly started spilling scalding hot water instead of steam.

Excellent redesign of a product Conair has marketed before. As compared to the clumsy older unit, this one is more compact resulting in better balance and handling. Although shorter and seemingly smaller in size, this steamer doesn’t skimp on features. The steam head itself now functions as a virtual iron, while only being heated by this team itself. The water compartment holds the same if not more than before, And the electronic controls are more clear and offer better functionality. As with all Conair products, The build quality is excellent, yet manages to come in at a very competitive pricing point.

So dangerous almost exploded on my clothes and caused a catastrophe ‼️‼️‼️ stay away from this dangerous product !!

Can’t travel with it it’s way too big too heavy but it’s a good steamer for home …I’ll have to buy a second one for travelling! Felt so bad that I couldn’t returned it left next day, literally and was gone for about a month. Came back sick so I’m stuck with it.

Didn’t even work once it keeps dripping water .. worst purchase ever !!
