Pleasantly surprised to be honest. I was scared to try this after reading mixed reviews on taste. I mixed it with water to save on calories and considering I didn’t have a shaker and used a folk, it mixed very well, no lumps, light and easy to drink. I added a little honey and the taste isn’t bad at all, not much different to other vanilla flavoured shakes I’ve had in the past which have been full of rubbish but taste good. I’m pleased I’ll be able to continue using a healthy shake with clean minimal ingredients.

Everything about this brand is quality! As a health practitioner I’ve used MANY different plant based protein brands - this hits 10/10 on flavour (I buy the chocolate and vanilla) Great nutrient density, clean ingredients (no hidden sugars or gums). I like that it’s super light to digest (no bloating which for a woman age 47 is a big plus!). 2 scoops blends well in my smoothies and smoothie (porridge/quinoa) bowls, pancakes, and tastes great in a few bread/cookie bakes and energy balls. Love it!

I’ve been using NuZest for the last 3 years, and was by far my go-to protein; within that time it had a great taste, good grade protein and low carb, no sugar. I used to regularly recommend it. This order was incredibly disappointing. Opened the 1Kg tub (had to go round the seal with a knife as the removable strip doesn’t perforate all the plastic) and I was hit by a very different smell than I was familiar with. The taste was metallic and bitter with a very unpleasant after-taste. Had a google to why the change was so drastic - they’ve changed their formula, replacing Thaumatin (Katemfe extract) for Stevia. Such a shame as it was my staple for so long, but now pretty much undrinkable and the price tag is no longer justified.

I really wanted to like this but the taste was not for me. I am not vegan but I wanted to try cleaner protein. The product itself was very good but the taste was hard to get used to. It tastes healthy and clean. Do recommend but only if you are used to pea protein.

Happy with the taste and quantity

Following a low FODMAP diet, it’s a minefield to find a good vegan protein that doesn’t irritate the gut and cause IBS symptoms to flair up, whilst also tracking macros... Amazingly this product seems to be FODMAP safe. Even when I had a serving in my morning smoothie, and another serving after my workout later in the day. No other vegan protein I’ve tried (and I’ve tried A LOT) even comes close to this... Love how there are so few ingredients and no synthetic sweeteners, keeps it simple. Yes, the texture is a little chalky however, this is the same as all other vegan proteins - the flavour (vanilla) is fine, it just tastes like vanilla so not sure the reviews are about saying it tastes bad. It really doesn’t. Sure, it’s not as sweet as some brands - but in my opinion that’s a good thing!

Did not have the effect other protein powders have. The only puchase from Amazon I have ever found not to my liking. Fortunately all other food stuffs have been good and likewise every other puchase. Cannot endorse Amazon enough⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Satisfying and easy to digest

The protein is quite good. Out of all the vegan proteins I’ve tried, this one is definitely the most drinkable. Yes, it does have a slight aftertaste, but nothing as unpleasant as with many other vegan proteins. The vanilla flavor is smooth and enjoyable, making it easy to mix and drink on a daily basis. Overall, a solid option if you’re looking for a plant-based protein.
