I LOVE THIS CORDING!!! It's soft, easy to use, frays beautifully, and is just overall awesome. It's not stiff like other cording I've bought from Michael's that was more like rope. I've made multiple hanging planters out of this cord and everyone loves them! Will definitely be buying more, and maybe I'll try the 4mm and I use the 3mm right now. Also, I've made at least 4 or 5 hanging planters and I still have quite a bit of cord left, which is AWESOME for the price!!!

Ordered this to make a couple of hanging planters. First time doing macrame; so far no issues with this project.Also, this is quite literally 3mm. Not sure if those saying it's less than 3mm got the wrong product?

This is not 3mm macrame cord. I've worked with many cords as a macrame artist and this is about 1.5mm. If you want tiny cord, then this would be ok.

Softer than expected. It's unbleached so it's a more beige than photographed, but I was expecting that.

Updating my review after speaking with customer service. I initially thought that 3mm cord I order was too small compared with other 3mm cord I've worked with. Perhaps I've been working 3.5mm and didn't realize it? After speaking with customer service they assured me it's not and offered to replace it with their 4mm cord. If you're worried about the 3mm being small, I'd recommend ordering the 4mm instead. That said, customer service was excellent the cord is very nice quality.
