You can't get any better than this to hang your holiday lights
I was going to use cups holders, but finding them in stainless steel was not so easy. When I found these, I thought they looked perfect, but it wasn't until they arrived that I knew they are perfect. They are very heavy gauge stainless steel, and I suggest a small hole be drilled to make screwing them in a bit easier. Once they are in, they are in for life. Before you go screwing them in, be sure of this. Take your light string, or whatever you will hang, and workout the droop between hooks. You don't want droop between hooks, so move them as close as they need to be to avoid drooping wire, then measure that distance and maintain it all the way around your roof. Now here is what I learned from that. As you approach a corner, work the spacing enough to keep that minimum distance, but be sure one lands at the corner, and every corner. These are worth every penny you will spend on them, they are of very high quality, and will last a lifetime. You may even paint them to match your soffit, or house paint, making them less visible. The last tip for you, is to not drill too big of a hole, you want a tight fit, so just drill as small a hole as it will take for you to screw them in with a little effort. The package size varies according to where you buy them, so if they don't indicate how many you get, you will never know if the price is good. I just bought two packages of 20 each, and each package cost my just under 10 dollars at wallmart, the delivery was free to my local store. So I will get 40 for approximately 20 dollars. So ask how many are in the package before you order. These hooks will last a lifetime on your home. Lastly, if you paint them, get a large piece of cardboard, screw the hooks into the cardboard leaving enough space between them to paint them with a good rust preventing primer, before you paint your final color. They do not have to match your house color, they only have to be close. The paint will keep these hooks looking good until the day they knock your house down to build another, in other words, they will last forever.

Great Design! Who Knew?
I use these to hold an under-eave tension cable that I have strings of "party lights" attached to. The cable has a hook and eye on one end, and a turnbuckle hook and eye on the other for tension adjustment. Then I use these along the length for support between the ends.It is great to not have to thread the wire through, and it means if I have to take down a string of lights, I can leave them attached to the cable.I didn't even know these existed!

Way Better Than Hooks
I was wondering how to install my Christmas lights in my new house as no product seemed to be right. Traditional are really made for holding heavy items that secure themselves with their weight such as a hanging plant. With lighter Christmas lights you have to zip ties them to every hook to get them to hang securely and tight. I also don't like gutter clips because they are made of the cheapest plastics, and therefore, break quite often. More importantly they leave you lights hanging out in front so the wires are visible and all your lights and connections are exposed to the environment. Then I found this little gem.Putting up lights is a breeze now. Though I still do zip tie the lights, I only have to do it every 5 or so feet now to keep a almost perfectly straight line. I have installed these every two feet, but I also have rather heavy lights with a combination of traditional icicle lights and those new large (shooting star) icicle shaped lights as well. My system holds them tight now and even when it rains they stay dry and are protected mostly from the wind. My wife did suggest that she could hang plants on these during the none winter months, but these hooks are not made for that kind of weight. They are for Christmas light king of weight, a couple pounds at most.Overall, I couldn't be happy with these hooks and I don't really know why anyone would buy anything else.

Q-hanger for Christmas lights
I bought these to replace the plastic hangers that clip on my rain gutter. Every year I would strap a bucket full of the plastic clips on my 6 foot step ladder and work my way from point A to point B installing the clips about every 2 feet. I had way more clips than I needed but they would eventually deteriorate from the UV rays. One the clips were installed I would hang the Christmas lights. After Christmas I would remove the lights and then have to go back and remove all the clips. I found these stainless steel hangers on Amazon and ordered enough of them to go from point A to point B and about a dozen extra. These I mounted to the soffit boards. They are permanently mounted so I don't have to take them down every year and the lights won't be exposed to rain like they were when mounted on the rain gutters. Last year was the first year I used them and it makes it a lot easier to put up and take down my Christmas lights and being made from stainless steel I don't have to worry about them rusting.

Good investment for Christmas decorating
I’ve spent the time installing these on my house for hanging Christmas lights. You spend a little time getting them screwed in the first time, but then you’re set to string up lights easily for years afterwards. The stainless steel material is a good choice for outdoors and is compatible with pressure-treated wood. These won’t age and wear out like plastic hangers. My only gripe is that it sometimes seems a little tight working a wire through the opening in the loop. I wish the gap were a bit wider.

hanger for Christmas lights
Although these were expected before Christmas two years ago, they arrived on Boxing Day so we did not have any lights up for 2018 Christmas. The wire hangers were not installed on the board under the eaves until summer 2019. When it came time to put up the lights for Christmas 2019, it was easy to wind the wires into the loops and the lights went up quickly and looked great. The lights also were easy to take down and now we have hangers in place so yearly, the lights will be easy to put up.
